dandannieldanok Posted 4 January 2008 Posted 4 January 2008 My wifes relations in sunderland tells us that kavanagh wont be coming to city, rumour as it that keane wants a million for him. Hope you're right. If we pay £1m for him I'll give up supporting Leicester until Ollie goes.
Matt Posted 4 January 2008 Posted 4 January 2008 I hope your wrong. Well if it's true about Keano wanting £1 Million, I wouldn't want us to sign him, but I do really want Kavanagh here...but £1 Million would be taking the piss. Keano hasn't got a clue in the transfer market has he?!
Nick Posted 4 January 2008 Posted 4 January 2008 He can set prices as high as he likes, he's four days in to the window and needs to spend a good 8 million himself if he wants to have a prayer of staying up. Let's see if he wants the same money and those surplus players on his wage bill come January 31st.......

Keano hasn't got a clue in the transfer market has he?! Agreed after all he paid £9 Million for Gordon. :crylaugh:

Keano hasn't got a clue in the transfer market has he?! Dont you think £3 mil for a 3rd choice goalkeeper is taking the PISS, fulops good but not that good.

Correct he can, but it's similar to a situation here, This is a chance Keano can use to offload some players that are no use to him, He isn't using Kavanagh therefore whats the point in keeping him? Obviously he won't let him go for free when he can make some money from him, but I dare say we made a decent offer not a million pound, but a fair offer, We have 14 (?) players here that Ollie has told to find new clubs no doubt any sniff of abit of money for any of those players (Within reason) we'll accept, I would have though Keano would be looking to do a similar rebuild?!
Steven Posted 4 January 2008 Posted 4 January 2008 My wifes relations in sunderland tells us that kavanagh wont be coming to city, rumour as it that keane wants a million for him. No relation to the Sammy Chung.
lee7 Posted 4 January 2008 Posted 4 January 2008 i want kavanagh here but not for that price. keane hasn't got a clue when it comes to transfers. he will probably put the price up for any player that we bid for from sunderland because of what ollie said about him.
Sniffer-Clarke Posted 4 January 2008 Author Posted 4 January 2008 No relation to the Sammy Chung. Any relation to GL i didnt know he was that pretty.

Yeah, absolutely, that's my point, Matt, he's holding out for a bit more cash but the truth is that he really wants to offload these players. It's poker. That's why Ollie being on TV screaming that he's being unreasonable and that we won't pay those silly prices is just playing him at his own game. He'll compromise or he'll play their wages while they do sweet fa for Sunderland next season. He's hoping someone dafter than Leicester will come in and give bigger cash...... It'll be a different story later on in the month. It'll be Sunderland phoning MM. The deal is dead in the water because we are silent playing the waiting game, waiting for the bluff to cave and it will have to.
Fox You Forest Posted 4 January 2008 Posted 4 January 2008 Agreed after all he paid £9 Million for Gordon. :crylaugh: And 6m for Kenwyn Jones wich is equally as bad if not worse.
Babylon Posted 4 January 2008 Posted 4 January 2008 My wifes relations in sunderland tells us that kavanagh wont be coming to city, rumour as it that keane wants a million for him. Funny... because it was only yesterday that said your friend knew that Johnson was going to QPR and not us. Amazing how you have so many people in the know.
lildave3 Posted 4 January 2008 Posted 4 January 2008 And 6m for Kenwyn Jones wich is equally as bad if not worse. He's been a damn good signing for them imo.
Sniffer-Clarke Posted 4 January 2008 Author Posted 4 January 2008 Funny... because it was only yesterday that said your friend knew that Johnson was going to QPR and not us. Amazing how you have so many people in the Yes, its also funny that you reckoned that stoke striker was having a medical yesterday , funny that.

scottybbmf Posted 4 January 2008 Posted 4 January 2008 keane is a c unt with a sh it side that are going down we dont need his bench warmers anyway apart from fulop what a twat

Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 4 January 2008 Posted 4 January 2008 This is ridiculous, so ridiculous it can't be true. I credit Roy Keane with more sense than that.
McFoxy Posted 4 January 2008 Posted 4 January 2008 This is ridiculous, so ridiculous it can't be true. I credit Roy Keane with more sense than that. I don't The guys a nob and always has been. Unlucky for us he was a good footballer. I couldn't bear it if the smug cu nt was a good manager too. With a bit of luck he will shoot himself in the foot with his treatment of people and go down. Then we can stick a couple past 'em next season (forever the optimist )
daveyboy Posted 4 January 2008 Posted 4 January 2008 And 6m for Kenwyn Jones wich is equally as bad if not worse. Especially when the likes of Roque Santa Cruz go for £3.5m!
Father Ted Posted 4 January 2008 Posted 4 January 2008 Hope you're right. If we pay £1m for him I'll give up supporting Leicester until Ollie goes. And me. I seriously thought about giving up supporting when Holloway came. He is just taking the piss and gets on my fackin nerves.
CupidStunt Posted 4 January 2008 Posted 4 January 2008 Keane has always been a prized tit,and this just proves the point thats exactly what he is £3 mil for fulop,i can almost get over, but asking a cool 1 mill for kav,he must be on fooking ketamin for breakfast and off his rocker, and as for his haircut, the action man's hair cut styled bellend can go and play with the fairies in cuckoo land
