18 Norwich 27 -8 31

19 Leicester 27 0 30

20 QPR 27 -9 30

21 Sheff Wed 26 -6 28

22 Preston 27 -7 27

23 S****horpe 27 -13 27

24 Colchester 27 -7 26

Who's it going to be then????

I can't look past Colchester and S****horpe for two of the places but the other one is wide open IMO. If we play anything like we did on Saturday for the rest of the season then we'll be fine. Norwich are on a great run, QPR have invested heavily, Preston have just beaten Watford and have signed Chaplow so may get out of trouble, Sheffield Wednesday are on a bad run but should be fine and Barnsley and Blackpool have both been good for patches. Which leaves Cov... Judging by Saturday they might run into trouble. There are lots of teams in it though.

I think that Colchester are fu cked unless they pull something out of the bag before the end of January.

Really, they should invest a bit I'd have thought as it's certainly do-able (staying up in this league).

I personally think that Sheffield Wednesday might drop this year. Wouldn't be that surprised if Blackpool dropped now though either, after a bright start.

Its too hard to call really, but im not sure Blackpool are that strong really. I can easily see a few bad results and them slipping into the relegation zone, and both Colchester and S****horpe dont look that good, so i guess ill vote for those three.

Nether Barnsley or Sheffield Wednesday look great either though, so they could be flirting with trouble too.

Dowie will get them into the play-offs he does that sort of thing don't you know, have you forgotten Crystal Palace?

It's very, very tight. We need a very good run of results before I think we're out of the woods. I think Preston have massive problems and an in-experienced manager.

Hmmmm

I sort of agree but they have just bought a couple of good players to help them out.

Chaplow has come in whose quality, but Chris Brown is absolute dog shit and if he scores more than a couple of goals before the end of the season then i'll be amazed.

They should do us a massive favour and offer us a seven figure sum for Matty Fryatt or a straight swap for Simon Whaley.

He also made Beckham England captain!

Oh wait, that was the other one... :giggle:

That's surprising looking at that table.

I didn't realise Colchester were doing so poorly. I said from the start that S****hrope would go down and I stand by that. Wouldn't surprise me to see Colchester join them along with Blackpool.

S****horpe definatley , Plymouth will start to slide, probably Colchester aswell but they have had 2 decent results against Bristol city & Charlton.

S****horpe and Colchester are most likely and the final place is really anybodys guess, the league is so tight that all it takes is a bad run of form at the wrong time and you could find yourself going down. Sheff Wed are in trouble and I cant see them strengthening too much in Jan, Blackpool had a good christmas period but I think they will go on a bad run of form soon and although Barnsley started the season well they are gradually slipping down the table.

Scunny and Col U look pretty much nailed on.

The third place is slightly harder to call. Sheff Wed have under-performed on a regular basis and have been relegated before. But I think they'll finish just ahead of Preston.

The big difference being that Dowie took over a palace team that was capable of winning the league and were massively underachieving. Coventry...not quite the same

Blackpool have finished strongly in each of the last two seasons under Grayson. I think they could do so again this time around.

Barnsley have been surprisingly strong to date, especially at home, but a poor run could easily see them dragged into the dogfight.
