I'm the same when I get dragged around there by the girlfriend. The thing that does really get on my nerves is when she re-visits shops twice or even a third time, when she has already had a look? They aren't going to have changed the stock in half an hour, I don't get it. Oh, & why do 400 teenagers find it neccessary to cram the Apple store, when they clearly aren't going to buy anything.

If she keeps going back to an item, reassure her and tell her it will look good on her/it's her colour/it would go really well with <insert item of clothing she already has>. She will then buy the said item, and you can go to the pub and celebrate.

I've just tried but it doesn't give a definitive list of all the dates a film will be showing, if the date you choose isn't an option you then have to keep selecting alternative dates until you find one when it's on - absolute crap! Again I gave up!

I must say I would much rather have seen a new pool, skate rink, cycling track, leisure centre or music venue rather than a retail church. Now the kids will just hang out and cause trouble rather than do anything to further themselves. Why do we hate the youth so much in this Country? Maybe thats another thread.

Few shops still to open namely Superdry which was disappointing but their section in Rackhams is still decent enough. Also much quieter than I expected, tomorrow will be a different story though anyone going in my opinion is mad.

If you mean the bit where you walk past the hand made burger co I agree, one side is just the brick work of the back of rackhams. They need to do something with that wall... even if they just cover it in something, it looks too dark up there and there is nothing going on. No wonder the 4/5 shops available at the top near high street haven't been taken by anyone. I went after work and was quite surprised by how easy it was to get around, not that many people about really considering it's the 2nd day. It's all very nice, shame cult and superdry weren't open as they are two of my favourite shops. I do fear for the restaurants and shops on the outside part though, they are stuck out of the way and without prior knowledge people wouldn't even know they are there!! The "Real China" place looks really nice though, they seem to be making a real effort with the decor!! Having avoided town for quite some time because of the construction works, the pedestrianisation around high street and the works done around the clock tower are a big improvement. Shame about all the empty shops and the haymarket!!!!

I don't think Zizi's is open yet, Nando's might be though. I think you walk out the main doors into the open air part and do a left to all the restaurants, then do a right towards the cinema and it's right on the corner underneath the cinema on the main road!!
