Joe. Posted 15 January 2008 Posted 15 January 2008 I'm just interested to find out what you lot think after hearing a debate on Football Focus on Saturday morning. *Hopes the poll works*
Alexikokopops Posted 15 January 2008 Posted 15 January 2008 If Fabregas still had his mullet none of you would be voting Gerrard. Dreamy...
Joe. Posted 15 January 2008 Author Posted 15 January 2008 It's just that Lee Dixon was adament that Fabregas was the better player. Gavin Peacock also agreed with him. A complete load of bollocks if you ask me. Gerrard definitely the better player in my opinion without a doubt.

You're wrong
acooling08 Posted 15 January 2008 Posted 15 January 2008 Gerrard because of better passing, shooting, free kicks, plus he plays great for England.
lildave3 Posted 15 January 2008 Posted 15 January 2008 Depends what you're/who you play them with. I think Fabregas is the better technical player, and also has better vision.
sdb Posted 15 January 2008 Posted 15 January 2008 gerrards better in a crap team cause he loves to run about doing everything but if you've got a solid team all over the park then i think fab dictates games better. gerrard's probably a bit better. ronaldo beats them both hands down.
Number 6 Posted 15 January 2008 Posted 15 January 2008 I think it's pretty even, Gerrard maybe more consistent though am so would say him. If Fabregas had continued how he started the season then would be saying him, the muppet isn't getting me many dream team points these days.
Thracian Posted 15 January 2008 Posted 15 January 2008 Fabrigas. But if I was a military man I can't think of anyone I sooner have on my side, storming a position than Gerrard. Fabrigas is a wondrous footballer, sure of touch and with the ability to spot things that have still to develop or to make them happen himself. Only recently I mentioned to a friend what a blow it would be for Arsenal if he were injured. It would be just like Manchester United using Ronaldo. Fabregas is almost the ultimate bandmaster and so difficult to replace. I admire Gerrard's spirit and his individual drive and ability but, given a choice of one or the other, I'd sooner have Fabregas. Perhaps he would just suit my style of football more. I'm a big admirer of Wenger and don't really see Liverpool as anything like the exciting side they've been in the past, except very occasionally.
Raj Posted 15 January 2008 Posted 15 January 2008 Gerrard. Ive just deleted you off my facebook friends list thingy. Gerrard....Ppppffffttttt!!!!!
Thracian Posted 15 January 2008 Posted 15 January 2008 I\d NEVER have a scouser!!! Not if she was really stunning? Sorry, just been going through the last of the Christmas leftovers!
Bert Posted 15 January 2008 Posted 15 January 2008 Ive just deleted you off my facebook friends list thingy. Gerrard....Ppppffffttttt!!!!! Boo-hooo. Gerrard is quicker, and can tackle better than Fabregas. He can shoot well, is an outstanding passer of the ball, and i believe he has a better engine than Cesc.

Tommy G Posted 16 January 2008 Posted 16 January 2008 Neither I think Paul Scholes is better than both
LeeCovFox Posted 16 January 2008 Posted 16 January 2008 Fabregas every time for me. Gerrard can be outstanding when he feels like it, but he doesn't feel like it often enough. And I can't stand the bloke. What a hypocrite he is! I've seen him moan in interviews on more than one occassion about diving in football, yet he does it more than most.
BigGibbo Posted 16 January 2008 Posted 16 January 2008 The best player at the minute is Gerrard but if i could only have one on a long term contract it would be Fabregas.
