It means more slagging off of Arsenal will be bought into the world! I don't wanna speak to soon, and theres still another 45 minutes to play but in this first half Tottenham are running rings round Arsenal, and there making it look easy. I'm loving it!

Haven't beaten them in donkeys of seasons and when they win a League Cup game (meaningless to the gunners) they'll wank over it for months to come.

But i'm not sure if fans would see it that way, It's not only a League Cup game but a Derby aswell, I wouldn't have that opinion if we played Coventry, Derby, Forest (Which we did) in the League Cup. Besides as it's already been said earlier in the thread it was Arsenals choice what team that put out tonight, and I doubt if Arsenal won the cup they'd consider it "meaningless". You don't go this far in the cup to get knocked out (By your rivals) and brand it meaningless.

Lets just say Arsenal don't give a toss about the cup itself but use the competetion as a way to get their reserve + youngsters games. Obviously nobody wants to lose a derby game but Wenger won't put his first teamers in just so they can beat Spuds.
