Lets just say Arsenal don't give a toss about the cup itself but use the competetion as a way to get their reserve + youngsters games. Obviously nobody wants to lose a derby game but Wenger won't put his first teamers in just so they can beat Spuds. Perhaps the cup is meaningless to Arsenal, perhaps they don't give a toss, perhaps it is a way for Arsene Wenger to get reserve and youngsters games, but an embarrassment? I don't think this is what Wenger or Arsenal expected, not at all. If this is the future of Arsenal...I like it 4-0 by the way!

The best thing is maybe Arsenal don't care about this competition that much, but surly against their big rival a 5-1 is a humiliation that they didn't want! Loving it! Just hope to see more of it soon, doubt we will, but we can live in hope.

I seem to remember about 6/7 years ago when they hadn't beaten Chelsea for ages, they did the same thing in the League Cup Semi Finals and tonked them 5-1.
