Bert Posted 22 January 2008 Posted 22 January 2008 Reports are circulating the key defender Wezleyowski, will be not available for the u21's this Saturday. If true, this is a big blow for the u21's, although we have adequate back-up. This story is yet to be confirmed to the U21's manager.

Wezleylowski Posted 22 January 2008 Posted 22 January 2008 Reports are circulating the key defender Wezleyowski, will be not available for the u21's this Saturday. If true, this is a big blow for the u21's, although we have adequate back-up. This story is yet to be confirmed to the U21's manager. There are several key factors I had to consider before pulling out of this gaffer. 1. I had micro surgery 5 weeks ago to repair severed tendons and nerves in my right index finger. 2. If i fall over and use my hand to support myself there is a chance the tendon in my finger could snap and retract into my palm, and that would need a 5 hour operation to fix, and lets not forget the pain. Lots of pain. 3. I am horrendously unfit. 4. Its my mates 16th birthday and i can hardly say " Oh sorry mate i cant come to your shindig, I have got to go to a football match where i cant even play" That would be harsh. 5. Key Factor- I am not running the risk of Finners scoring elentymillion because I have a mare due to my unfitness/ injury/ lack of match fitness. Sorry for being a **** and letting everyonedown

Finnegan Posted 23 January 2008 Posted 23 January 2008 Someone can surely lend you a pair if they're short on defenders? Someone with your height would dominate a midget like me at the back.

And someone that can actually move on two legs will destroy Potter for pace. As for those who have 3, well...
