Please use the following poll to vote for your Foxes player of the month.

We will be running these polls every month of the season and the player finishing first will get 3 points, second 2 points and third 1 point. The 3 players with the most points at the end of the season, will then be polled to determine who should be crowned the FoxesTalk player of the season 2008

Qualification for players is they have to have to played the equivalent of 3 games this month (270 minutes).

  • This month there are 10 eligible players from 4 league games and 1 FA Cup game.
  • Only 1 player started and finished all 5 games: McAuley
  • 21 players were used.

Alnwick.

Three clean sheets, plus no involvement in the QPR and Southampton debacles.

Couple of good saves against Norwich but nothing whatsoever to do in the games against Cov and Palace

I have been delighted with Stearman's application since the arrival Holloway - achieve a consistent level of competence if a remarkable achievement for him.

Howard. Player of the month, I think you've been doing drugs.

Clemence for me, oh yes, the new improved Stephen Clemence.

No chance. Clemence was awful at QPR and didn't play against Southampton or Norwich. He wasn't even particularly great last night.

Howard was our best player in two poor away displays and was great against Coventry. He's added a new dimension to our attacking play that we haven't had in a long time.

Ahbababababa, you can't count not playing against him, he's played enough games to qualify so therefore he shall be judged on when he's played. And from what I understand the whole team were awfull against QPR, Howard and his missed free header from six yards included!

I thought Clemence was alright yesterday....

Difficult to chose this month. Usually all of them bar about 1 or 2 players are crap each month so it's not too difficult.

Stearman, Mattock, Clemence and Hume bar last night have all improved in recent weeks.

Howard impressed me at QPR, when we were guff. Last night was his worst game so far for us, but he still had an influence in pegging Palace back.

I'm going with Howard.

I'd prefer to judge based on a contribution to the five games as a whole. I'm not voting someone as player of the month for one excellent game and one "alright" game when there are players who have played all five, been excellent in one or two and "alright" in others.

Howard didn't miss any particularly easy chances from six yards at QPR but he did threaten their goal and hit the post from 20-25 yards with a cracking volley.

I herd different, Barber might be an fool with no idea but he suits my arguement, and he said Howards missed a free header from six yards!! ha.

And if the sole criteria for being player of the month is being a big lump that can head a ball and hit the woodwork occasionally we might as well give it to Barry, at least he's managed two goals and wasn't ridiculously over priced!

EDIT: YES! I knew I could convince some over mug to vote for Clemence, fantastic!

Matt Oakley.

Not by any means outstanding but exactly what we've needed lately. Somebody to pick a simple pass, then offer angles to take it back, then spread the play again. Simple, but effective nonetheless.

I was very tempted by Stearman but I don't think he can be called our Player of the month. Most improved player maybe.

I went for Oakley. He's had a great influence on the team in the three games he's played in and he's impressed me a lot.
