Darkzzz_ Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 Hope we really hammer them on saturday.... That plymouth chairman can then eat ollies backside!! OAF
eaststandtom Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 LinkSounds like sour grapes to me. i have been an infrequent poster on here as of late but i can feel a whole clutch of posts coming on about this issue my family is on the verge of fall out. for some reason my mum supports argyle but i cant hold back on this any longer. argyle fans have just been wallowing in the misery since holloway left enjoying every minute of it. its not holloways decision not to pay the going rate. the board are the ones with the money and can give the green light. this game on saturday now has an edge not just for the pilgrims but for us now. i really hope we win. So argyle sell 5 players after Holloway leaves!!! And it is his fault. I think that’s why Holloway left cos he knew the board would not be able to keep them. Norris has echoed the same sentiments about the board there having to invest to keep hold of these players and challenge for the top. Honestly, argyle are becoming on a par with forest and villa in my levels of hatred also, their chairman has a ridiculous haircut.someone should have a word
eaststandtom Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 what a twat. again, a shocking, shocking haircut! it does my head in that wealthy people dont get their barnets sorted properly and get what looks like a 3.50 job from luigis on narborough road!
eaststandtom Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 http://www.rivals.net/news/pgarticle.aspx?artid=2483_3114508More detail on what Stapleton said. reading this holloway advised the board the ebanks blake was unfit and didnt deserve a new contract, buzsaky was a hinderance to the dressing room and too inconsistent as the chairman himself says and norris clearly wanted to leave. he could have deciderd to stay. he is notnot being forced to leave just cos holloway said he could move if he wanted to. holloway wouldnt have randomly said this.norris wanted to go. couldnt all of these be interpreted as a manager trying to rid his club of wantaway players and inconsistent players?
eaststandtom Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 http://www.thisisplymouth.co.uk/displayNod...374754111#views Come on argyle. This isn’t pretty. Couldn’t holloways actions be interpreted as him offering his opinions on players who didn’t deserve new contracts(ebanks blake), wantaway players (Norris) and those who were a hinderance to team spirit (buzsaky)? Holloway probably did say Norris could leave but Norris wasn’t forced he obviously wanted to leave else Holloway wouldn’t have said he could. Why would he want players there who were not fully commited? Don’t worry, the irony isn’t lost here. Holloway ultimately wasn’t commited to Argyle thanks to Mandaric’s approach but now is the time to move on and for Argyles board to learn from their mistakes and find extra investment. Personally, id love to see Argyle getting promotion but as Norris says himself, more backing is needed. Leicester have been there before seeing not just one but 2 bright young managers in brian little and mark mcghee leave the club in exactly the same way for clubs who, at the time, were perceived to be more ‘ambitious’ in villa and wolves and who had more financial clout at the time. Leicesters board learnt from this sought extra investment, got promoted and had a successful period in the premiership and won a couple of trophies to boot! Nice. Why not argyle? So long as the argyle board accept, like leicesters did back then, to learn from the reasons why managers walk out, seek investment, use it wisely everything they want can be achieved then maintained but the board blaming the ex manager for unfit and want away players leaving? People in glass houses for what it is worth!!! softly softly approach rather than all guns blazing is best tactic at moment
Master Fox Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 So to summarise, Plymouth are a pathetic poor little town club that nobody cares about with a few hundred inbred freaks as fans with chips on their shoulders led by a deluded weirdo that looks like he’s stuck in the 1970’s.
Daggers Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 Any chance of re-posting that in English? Unlikely.
Manwell Pablo Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 Well, looks like you lot had fun on here yesterday evening..
