I hope you provided a suitably apt suggestion for them. icon6.gif

If we lose on Saturday could you please make your return here as swift as possible. You'll have some serious banning to do.

You can see that Manager's love their Chairmen :D

Sturrock plays down Holloway hype

Plymouth manager Paul Sturrock is playing down the pre-match hype surrounding Saturday's clash at Leicester.

Plymouth manager Paul Sturrock is playing down the pre-match hype surrounding Saturday's clash at Leicester.

The Foxes are managed by former Argyle boss Ian Holloway, whose departure led to Sturrock's return for a second spell in the Home Park hot-seat.

Sturrock said: "I agree with Ian, it's three points that two sets of players are playing for on Saturday. I think that's the way it should be approached."

Sturrock also praised the former Argyle managers who preceded his second spell with the Pilgrims - Chester's Bobby Williamson, Stoke's Tony Pulis and Holloway. He added: "As I've said already I think the three managers here before me did a fantastic job. Ian brought some good footballers to this club and should be remembered for that."

Sturrock reiterated that his priority was claiming a first Argyle win at Leicester in 17 visits, of which only three were draws and the rest defeats.

"The important part that we are forgetting is it's a game for three points, and as I said we want to get back on the rails as a football club. We want to start winning football games again as, at this minute, we have been winning and losing. It's vitally important for the football club to get back on the rails."

God forbid we lose on Saturday. This place will be un-****ing-bearable.

I can't believe we've scooped down to the level of these sailor boys. Plymouth sodding Argyle, why are they even on our radar. We got bigger things to worry about than these cretins.

Can't we just have one thread where all the Plymouth fans can post their ridiculously repetitive bollocks and I don't have to weep into my prune juice every time another thread gets taken over by them saying exactly the same things that other Plymouth fans have said about 50 times before.

You're not making any new points, just acting like cunts.

The only thing they've managed to succeed in is causing me to dislike what I actually viewed as one of the better clubs in the Championship.

Plymouth Pete and jbrommo can post elsewhere, they can post without being dicks.

That goes for me too. I used to respect and like Plymouth and was quite impressed with what they have achieved with limited budget. In fact, I hoped that they'd promoted one way or another just to show the rest of the footballing world that with no money but only hard work and sheer determination and 11 players playing for each other can be very successful. I had a lot of time for them.

Not anymore. Now I just think they are bunch of bitter c*nts.

Just listened to what Mandaric had to say to Radio Leicester on the BBC site

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ity/7232989.stm

He's spot on. The chairman will ultimately make the decision on whether to let a player go or what goes into their contract! I'm slowly coming to the conclusion that the reason Plymouth are so bitter is because they've never been this sucessful in their history and they don't know how to handle it when the person that bought them that success leaves. Pity them, don't lower yourselves to their level! We're gonna smash em on saturday!

The Argyle fans living in Newquay that i know are not that bothered about Ollie going to Leicester, just glad he took them where he did.

Also the Argyle Eejits posting on here probably dont even go to Home Park, their best support comes from Cornwall and they are also very disrespectfull to the Cornish support,i know as i have been to Home Park for 15 matches, heard them take the piss, but never seen Argyle lose there. ;0/ :scarf::bounce:

It's exactly this sort of attitude that has put us where we are. Why are we bothering about Burnley?, why are we bothering about Barnsley. Until we realise that we have been well below clubs like Plymouth for a couple of seasons now and are struggling down at the basement with Colchester and S****horpe, we will always be in trouble. Games in the CCC are won and lost by not much more than effort and spirit, not ludicrous self delusion

Ollie left Argyle because he knew what was going to happen in the January transfer window. My mates who are Argyle fans feel he did a good job but are not upset why he left just the fact he was full of waffle.

I will watch the match Saturday then off to the pub with my Cornish Argyle Pixies and we will have a laugh.Isnt that what football is all about...

You are a Plymouth fan in disguise arent you?

Bitching Ollie everytime you can, and in your lastest post actually saying we have been below Plymouth for a couple of seasons in a thread about Plymouth's chairman's assault on Ollie 3 days before the teams play against each other....

You get a thrill out of trying to bluff us???

You misunderstood me. My post was nothing to do with statue or anything

What I meant was what do us and Plymouth really have in common, apart from one manager leaving one club to go to another? I don't care about Barnlseeh' and Scunny and Blackpool and same goes for Plymouth. I don't give a toss about them but this constant spouting between the two sets of fans is annoying. And most of the blame lay on them those pastie sailor boys. Most of us don't really give a toss about Plymouth, its them and their **** face of a chairman who still have sour grapes.

Plymouth are Plymouth. We are Leicester. We don't share anything apart from being in the same division and playing one another twice a season. Thats it.

Very true but if it's anything like our other attempts to entertain the nation on Sky this season you won't be saying that at 5.30 tomorrow. Shouldn't you be setting off soon?
