Unlucky for him the chairman wouldn't do business with him after it, but it looks like he fancied buying all the players at discount rates doesn't it?! No we would probably behave like Swindon have done after you knicked their manager. Not like four year olds. I'm disappointed Leicester haven't come out and comdeming the Plymouth PR machine for trying to incite trouble. Before I was worried because Plymouth would want to win it more but now with this it will translate to our players as well on Saturday. Whoever this muppet is may have done us a favour.
Blue Bob Posted 6 February 2008 Posted 6 February 2008 I think it is really simple. Ollie knew that several of his players wanted to leave either in January or at the end of the season. I would imagine he went to the board to ask what they would do to either try to keep the players or at least replace them when they have left. The board obviously did very little. Ollie then decided that his future lie elsewhere and left. The players have then left over the course of the window. So have they been ambitious, hardly, they have had quite a bit of money in but spent very little of it. I think they were just happy to cash in while they could and now find it convenient to blame it all on Ollie. The simple truth is the Chairman runs a football club and he should make sure he does it correctly, certainly not to go on your website and publish six pages of b@llocks, which blames everyone but himself. It looks like Plymouth are dropping like a brick, Leicester might soon overtake them and I think he is getting his excuses in now!!! Bet Ollie is thinking he is glad he got out.
