Maybe if I had said 'muslim son' or 'jewish son' people would've seen the funny side of it. Next time I shall consider and try not to offend people who doesn't like these sort of jokes.

Next time it might be better for you to consider including something funny in an attempted "joke" instead of it just being a statement of your bigotry

No I don't - I appreciate you saying that this was not the point, fair enough, but that doesn't detract from the fact that it still comes across as such. I believe the initial post to be a display of ignorance and bigotry, a homophobic comment that is offensive and disrespectful. Them's my opinions and they have nothing to do with political correctness. Time to move on I think...

Its just that some subjects are quite sensitive and are liable to cause offence. I was myself offended by what I perceived to be bigotry, but if you say thats not how it was meant, then fair enough mate, I'll believe that.
