Will you be making another appearance any time soon or do we have to wait until we are nearly dead and buried again?

I think I shall wait until we're firmly into the bottom 3 it will add to the excitement and tension.

Might as well just leave it to those who've encouraged/condoned/said they didn't mind negative football over the years. Plus yourself of course. It's perhaps hard to fathom but some "supporters" don't feel like cheering soulless, chanceless, shotless football from players who sometimes look as if they've got the energy of a retired pit pony.

The Great Escape was sort of a collective effort from the Kop. I don't know who started it. Lets hope we're not 2-0 down to Norwich.

And I remember cheering myself hoarse last season during the run in. I have begged and begged for a change this season to positive, goalscoring football, sometimes to my own embarrassment. But we've strangled ourselves with what has been idiocy at times, right from day one. And now, we're predictably slipping into the quagmire of relegation. I admire you for your hope and Fez too for his continued steadfastness. But that's no reason to gently mock fans who feel differently or who watch football to be entertained and to see some thrills rather than accepting the prospect of ground-out 1-0's or shut-up-shop 4-5-1's on our travels. It leaves me flat and judging by the noise around me in the Kop these days I'm not the only one. I suppose it's why you got my vote last year as FoxesTalk fan of the year and were in my mind for it this year. I really can't fault your dedication and stoicness, nor would I want to. And all I can say in my own defence is that perhaps, when our club finally wakes up plays the sort of football I envisage, even you might start enjoying games again because, apart from socially, I find it hard to imagine you celebrating the football we're playing right now or, indeed, the football we've served up for the most part of the last four years.

When the rallying call from Milan is issued? Whatever it is, they'll need to be prompted or know they're going to get something in return. Ridiculous. Some of our fans really annoy me with this constant expectation that they deserve better. Myself and others have put a lot of effort in to try and help gain more vocal backing, but to many people are contempt waiting to be entertained. These will probably be the people that won't be renewing next season if we go down.

Fair enough our home support is shite, I'm not gonna make any excuses, but if fan support, fan atmosphere, and fan noise moved us up the table, we wouldn't be top, but we'd be within the top 10 i'd say, We have good support, We lack atmosphere, and noise, but we get the attendances. If only it was that easy to blame the fans for our poor players. I've said before and i'm getting bored of saying it, it starts with the players we go to watch them and be entertained, they show us something to cheer about (i.e - Coventry...Not a bad atmosphere at that game and why? Because we looked good) we then cheer them on, push them through when it's not going well, works both way...starting with them entertaining and proving themselves to the paying customer.

I get your point, Don't get me wrong, And I'd love there to be a great atmosphere at Leicester, but at the end of the day no matter how much we support, no matter how loud we shout, We can't make anything happen on the pitch, that is down to the players. Not atmosphere wise i'll give you that but this thread was started and about how long it'll take for the fans to stand up and be counted, and make some noise show some support, at the end of the day it starts and ends with the players, we as fans can't do anything the change that, we have shown what we as fans can do at the Walkers, we have been loud, if the players want that type of atmosphere that spurs them on they know what to do, and its the only way we're going to get a decent atmosphere at the Walkers There's absolutly no doubt that the atmosphere is better when we play well, or when we're at least really having a good go. It's no wonder our atmosphere isn't all that good when we're watching passionless boring dross, like we have been since we got relegated. Exactly, it's just depressing on and off the field. 5 Minutes at the start and 5 minutes at the end of matches the atmosphere is generally good why? Because for the first 5 minutes of games, our players get stuck in and look a good team, and the last 5 minutes of games when we're normally losing our players realise "Shit, we're losing" and get stuck in, but it's too little, too late at that point, But we'll still get abit of atmosphere going because as I said their showing us something, some fight, some passion, getting stuck in. They show us something, We'll support them.

In fact I would compare it to the team. We've seen them win impressively with attacking football against the likes of Sheffield United, Tottenham and Watford over the past three years or so yet generally have had to put up with dreadful performances. I acknowledge that not everyone wants to get behind the team no matter what - but that's no excuse for all those who joined in for that Birmingham game. And yes, the silent majority in the Kop does annoy me - a lot. Because if everyone who ever slagged off the atmosphere actually supported the team vocally for an extensive period of time, there wouldn't be a problem in the first place...

I agree with Ched though, I sing as much and as loud as I can no matter how we're playing, and if more of us did that then the team would get a bit of a lift.

Last season was brilliant, it was only the true city die hards in Kop as it was a night game and we were on a bad run so no tourists would come. Although it is a bit negative with it being chanted this season, if were losing we should sing it at Norwich - aswell as Ollie Out. And if were winning then Johnny Cash - Ring Of Fire - dudududududu du du duuuuuuuuu. - With all fans taking their tops off and swirling them around in the air. What an atmosphere that would be!!
