LeeCovFox Posted 21 February 2008 Posted 21 February 2008 I find it hard to get worked up over Coventry. If we were playing Derby or Forest on Saturday I'd be buzzing about it now. I'd have been buzzing about it for weeks. We always seem to beat Cov without much fuss at home and I have only been to Cov away once (Highfield Road, we drew 0-0, awful game) - always seem to be busy when we play them! As opposed to Forest where the first time I went there I saw us lose there 4-0 and it was horrible, you have to listen to them banging on about what brilliant football they play, the 70s, Brian Clough etc etc. Then losing there 1-0 when they'd already been relegated. That was rubbish. We drew 2-2 there when they scored in about the 96th minute and that was horrible too. The first game this season was dreadful, wave after wave of attack. We were appalling for 89 minutes against them in the second game and then it was all worth it for those last five minutes. Still my highlight of the season so far.With Forest you always get the feeling you're going into a cauldron, their A block are quite intimidating as far as any away ground goes. I can't see the Ricoh being like that. Was that 1993/1994 season by any chance? Frank Clark taking Forest up as runners up and Brian Little taking us up as Play Off winners. I was there that day. My first away game. Stan Collymore an Scott Gemmil destroying us if I remember rightly. That Forest side was bloody good mind, went on to finish 3rd in the Premier League whilst we were being battered every week.

But lately Cov have started to get on my nerves, if i see a ex Forest/Derby player i naturally hate them as long as their not playing for us. Cov i couldn't care less. Its more the fans i hate with Cov their utter wan kers.
leicesterseddon Posted 21 February 2008 Posted 21 February 2008 in terms of who hates us the most: 1) Cov - cos all the other west mids. clubs are tied up in their own derbies (Second Citioy and black countrioy) and they need to vent their rage 2) Sheep - mild hatred 3) Trees - they say they only really hate the sheep or notts county...that's not true but they still hate us the least i hate forest fans the most because they won't shut up about that pissed-up Derby fan (some call him clough) and the 70s etc but nevertheless i can still respect their fanbase and history. i've never really had a problem with derby fans. cov fans, however, i hate simply becasue they are so pathetic. so for me its: 1) Trees 2) Cov 3) Sheep

They really have pissed me off and at the match at the Walkers, that just riled me beyond the point of return. Plymouth fans have entered the seriously bad books!

These bunch of self-proclaimed knobs are the least of our worries. You should feel sorry for them. How can you hate these harmless farmers whom nobody cares about?
