Foxhateram Posted 16 February 2012 Author Posted 16 February 2012 I was living here last year, you should go, I think you would love it. Yer cheers for that pal . In my defence over this, the cows were eventually removed from these feilds because they actually did get someone, and trample them pretty badly ( This was not a good thing obviosiously and I supported the woman in her claim against the falmer). I have been through many cow fields since and been fine, so my phobia is not quite so strong these days. Loved the top gear episode with Hammond being in the spanish bull race. Excellent.
Houdini Logic Posted 16 February 2012 Posted 16 February 2012 Every cow has a best friend. I like cows
The Doctor Posted 16 February 2012 Posted 16 February 2012 I've always thought cows were slightly sinister, evil bastards - and this story confirms that. Only one solution - kill them all and have a massive barbecue.
Captain... Posted 16 February 2012 Posted 16 February 2012 They are quite intimidating, cos they are big buggers and when they are in your way, and just stare at you, chewing slowly, like some sort of Bovine Clint Eastwood, wouldn't ever mess with a cow, In the video above the big ones are cows the smaller ones are the bulls, the cows are there totry and keep the bulls with the herd, but they will still **** you up if they get a chance.
Orkneyfox Posted 20 February 2012 Posted 20 February 2012 Cows are definately dodgy. They've killed a number of people over the last few years. The steers are boisterous but unpredictable but cows, like females everywhere (gross generalisation alert) can be very dangerous at, around, or just after calving time. HSE stats for 2009 - 10 list 5 bovine related fatalities.
StanSP Posted 20 February 2012 Posted 20 February 2012 Don't kill the cows! It's Hinduism's religious and sacred animal! I forbid the cow-based murder.
I am Rod Hull Posted 20 February 2012 Posted 20 February 2012 Fookin unpredictable "heifers" the lot of em That was going to be my hudder joke...

Foxhateram Posted 28 February 2015 Author Posted 28 February 2015 Oh those were the days. Reading stories from my hilariously mis spent youth. You couldn't have scripted it. Things I did for that girl! If there are any teenagers reading, she ain't worth it and life does get better haha. Let this story entertain all over again haha. As for making it up, it was actually a true story and on the same route to see the same girl a few years later, I was actually hurt quite badly by stampeding sheep. Haha 16/17/18 were great years in my life hahah. So glad I don't have to go girl chasing these days. Happily engaged and in a house of our own with pets, and both on a stable wage. How life can change so quickly.

It's light hearted and makes a change over the standard thread. I enjoyed reading it again and laughing at myself, I bumped it for entertainment purposes. Get over it.
