I wonder how IH would feel if Bristol Rovers had put up a performance like that against Bristol City. Perhaps he could use that as motivation. ;)

Send Laczko back to Hungary asap. If he won't play in away games we don't need him.

Wasn't it you who said don't single out one player for the defeat in another thread? If not, I apologise.

HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUME.

Worryingly, in public at least it wasn't down to that!

"If these boys weren't trying then I would have a go at them.

And this is all defeatest talk,

Matt Oakley had a shot blocked; That's the way it has been going for us.- so fooking what!

We were trying to climb a mountain - we were 1-0 down against a shit team coming off the back of a 5-0 drubbing whilst we had just spanked somenoe 4-0, if that's a mountain then you're not the right man for the job

The players need to believe in themselves and I need to have a good look at who is wilting. - Your the one that's wilting Ollie, stop making excuses.

"I feel for the boys because that was a ludicrous decision.

"It was always going to be a difficult fixture, but the way we have been this week and the energy that the players have shown me - I totally felt that it was going to go our way.

"We started the game well. Matt Oakley has had a shot that I think was on its way and it as ended up knocking one of their lads out. That's the way it has been going for us.

"We were trying to climb a mountain in the second half and we did everything but score. It just didn't quite go in today.

"We have sorted our home form our but we have now got to do that away. The players need to believe in themselves and I need to have a good look at who is wilting.

Sounds like Ollie was watching a different game based on the player ratings

Leicester City boss Ian Holloway said a controversial decision cost his side once again when his Foxes went down 2-0 to Coventry at the Ricoh Arena on Saturday.

The home side were awarded a penalty in the 32nd minute of the contest when defender Gareth McAuley was adjudged to pull Leon Best's shirt in the Leicester penalty area.

But following the game Hollway was able to review the incident - and said he could see nothing wrong with the challenge from his defender. The Foxes pressed in the second half and almost got back into the game through Joe Mattock - but his fine effort fell just wide of the target.

And with the clock ticking down the Sky Blues made sure - Best clipping the ball past Ben Alnwick to seal the points.

Holloway said: "I went in to see the referee after the game and he told me that he was right. But I don't think I have ever seen such an unbelievable decision. What again! I don't think anyone in the ground knew what he had given it for. There was nothing in it at all.

"That's four out of the last five that we have lost now and that is not good enough for a club of our size.

"If these boys weren't trying then I would have a go at them. What we have got to realise is that we are where we are and the table doesn't lie. We have been here for the last four years.

"We have now got Cardiff away next week and I want these boys to come out firing. We got an away win in my first game against Bristol City but that hasn't happened again since."

I think he forgot to go to Specsavers! :giggle:

I agree davieG. The excuses are already becoming a little worrying to be honest. He seems to be blaming everything on bad luck. We had a shot blocked - that's not bad luck - it's football!

Don't see how you can claim Coleman to be a successful manager sure he kept Fulham in the premiership for a couple of seasons but that is hardly what you would call success.

Who do you think is going to come to leicester some manager thats just won premier league or f.a cup :dunno:

Having just seen it on the Championship I am worried about IH's current state of mind.

1 step forward, 10 steps back and of the cliff we fall, that is how I descirbe Leicester City at the moment.

It bloody hurts doesn't it!!!

Especially when you see the voiceless Cov fans suddenly finding there voices again!!!

I've said it before, and I'll say it again - you make your own luck. How can one blocked shot in 90 minutes of football be unlucky? Does the thought not occur to any of these guys that if you take 10, 1 might go in, instead of trying to walk the bloody thing into the back of the net? Which we patently can't do.

Well said Lisa....

I thought the best effort we had yesterday was Howard's shot that actually went out for a throw in!!!

I had the nightmarish image of the in-laws laughing at my team's ineptitude. I could see them in my warped and twisted mind laughing and pointing. Perhaps then laughing a little more.

They now don't believe how well we beat them at our place.

Yes that is going to be a hard one to explain now isn't it!!

Did it really happen or was it all in your sick and twisted mind??

Piss-poor.

Last year it was away wins that kept us up. If we have any chance of staying up this year it's gotta be wins at the Walkers. We are never going to win with such negativity and non-belief like we have at away games.

If you can just pick up draws away, win at home and you'll be fine. But with these lackluster performances away from home we are going to have to rely on our very unpredictable home form to keep us up.

if holloway keeps blaming luck on these losses why arent his team fully equipped with four leafed clovers, rabbits foots and lucky turds to help them.

Roll on Cardiff.

Nah! I'm still confident that Ollie can do it... once this SHITE season is over, we'll sort it all out over the summer and really shift the crap and get in some decent players which will turn our season around. :)

Can't wait to see what Ollie can do in the pre-season transfer market! :D

I think this is called blind optimism to be honest. But if you're going to lock yourself in a room for the rest of the season, good luck to you and you might come out smiling pre-season.
