We lack confidence when we go a goal down if they are hurt by Holloway's words than maybe they shouldn't be playing, Holloway is merely saying those things to get the players to actually to do something about it, in other words he is hoping the players with leadership abilities within them will start to show through.

Players thrive on praise, not public humiliation. Martin O'Neill is the only manager we have had in recent years who understood that.

Tell me, what positives and praise can we give on today performance?

Ollie and the fans praised them last week and they 100% deserved it, All Ollie and everyone was saying though was this performance and win would only count for something if we go on from it.

We have yet again took 30 steps back though.

Praise? They don't deserve praise. Praise for what exactly? Praise for not performing? Praise for conceding and leaking goals.

They deserve credit for where it is due. Not for praise for the sake of it.

Did anyone see that boy in the gay green aero jumper?

sat up near block 10 and took some bouncy ball lol!

I told you Joe - the way forward is 'drunk' or 'very drunk'. :D:cool:

I would like the opportunity to plonk him in charge during the summer and get him to appoint the manager of his choice just to see it go tits up as well...maybe then he'd shut the **** up. :dunno:

Probably not.

Paul Ince was my first choice last summer. Top of the League with MK Dons last I saw.

Sounds like Ollie was watching a different game based on the player ratings

Leicester City boss Ian Holloway said a controversial decision cost his side once again when his Foxes went down 2-0 to Coventry at the Ricoh Arena on Saturday.

The home side were awarded a penalty in the 32nd minute of the contest when defender Gareth McAuley was adjudged to pull Leon Best's shirt in the Leicester penalty area.

But following the game Hollway was able to review the incident - and said he could see nothing wrong with the challenge from his defender. The Foxes pressed in the second half and almost got back into the game through Joe Mattock - but his fine effort fell just wide of the target.

And with the clock ticking down the Sky Blues made sure - Best clipping the ball past Ben Alnwick to seal the points.

Holloway said: "I went in to see the referee after the game and he told me that he was right. But I don't think I have ever seen such an unbelievable decision. What again! I don't think anyone in the ground knew what he had given it for. There was nothing in it at all.

"I feel for the boys because that was a ludicrous decision.

"It was always going to be a difficult fixture, but the way we have been this week and the energy that the players have shown me - I totally felt that it was going to go our way.

"We started the game well. Matt Oakley has had a shot that I think was on its way and it as ended up knocking one of their lads out. That's the way it has been going for us.

"We were trying to climb a mountain in the second half and we did everything but score. It just didn't quite go in today.

"We have sorted our home form our but we have now got to do that away. The players need to believe in themselves and I need to have a good look at who is wilting.

"That's four out of the last five that we have lost now and that is not good enough for a club of our size.

"If these boys weren't trying then I would have a go at them. What we have got to realise is that we are where we are and the table doesn't lie. We have been here for the last four years.

"We have now got Cardiff away next week and I want these boys to come out firing. We got an away win in my first game against Bristol City but that hasn't happened again since."

Another UNBELIVEABLE DECISION according to Holloway.........You know things are bad when we start blaming the Ref/Luck/Forgetting to wear our lucky pants :frusty:

What have you achieved here? What can we do about it?

You moan when we take 5000, you moan when we take 400.

*Bert btw.

Yeah, that's exactly what I was getting at wasn't it?

I was just showing what a sorry effect the performance had on the fans and there reaction to it.

Good stuff! :)

I've had time to reflect on this and to be honest, I think this is what we need... to be shit for the rest of the season but stay up because of the odd decent game.

That way, they will go into pre-season knowing that they are crap, get a REAL shake-up over the break by Ollie and Milan and then come the start of next season, we'll have a GOOD bunch of players starting for us that WANT to do well for the club and hopefully some sort of stability... Ollie really hasn't had enough time to really bed down tactics and his style of play... during the season its just too hard... you need a prolonged break, such as over summer, to get the players working as you want them to and then come the start of the new league season, they should be good to go.

If not, then we know that there is nothing to cheer about, League 1 beckons for the first time in our history and Ollie is sacked with Milan probably leaving meaning that we are penniless, have a shit team and no manager... and then our fall into obscurity is virtually complete...

A LOT rests on Ollie and pre-season...

Nah! I'm still confident that Ollie can do it... once this SHITE season is over, we'll sort it all out over the summer and really shift the crap and get in some decent players which will turn our season around. :)

Can't wait to see what Ollie can do in the pre-season transfer market! :D
