Coventry Post Match Moan

I'm considering divorce.

And so the straw clutching in an effort to find a solution to the back2back win dilemma continues...

I am considering having a perm - far less dramatic and probably more inspirational for the players.

There really isn’t a lot to comment on in terms of action. It was an awful game on an awful pitch.

I’ll assume that both sides can play better because the match was lower on quality than the majority of league 1 games I’ve seen this season. The penalty was amongst the worst decisions I’ve ever seen

From my point of view I thought the work rate of some of the Leicester players was really really poor. Did they want it? There never seemed to be more than 1 player looking to receive the ball when you had possession and too many times was hit aimlessly at the front 2 who won’t stand a chance if you play balls up to them like that. The only bright spots for me were that Coventry didn’t have too many chances either and you looked dangerous from the few set pieces you had.

For me no more excuses, Ollie picks the team and brought in alot of the players and we are no better.

It was a penalty from were i was sitting. Yanked his shirt a good 3 times and was his own fault. Stiil we had alot of time to get a goal didnt we ? Game don't finish after 35 mins does it ? Just a excuse merchant.

We need to stay up more then ever so OLLIE OUT and BILLY DAVIES IN.

Just saw the goals on World. I must say, as good as our defense is most the time, its an absolute scandal that we cannot defend a hoofball. The situation leading to the penalty is laughable defending really, long ball and panic.... Its been a problem since Ollie arrived. Before we struggled with crosses and now its long balls. But come on, this division is all about long balls, and if you cant defend them, you have a problem.

The penalty decision is not as bad as I thought, McAuley clearly yanked his shirt so he couldn't shot first time; just a shame that our opponnents are allowed to do it at every corner we have and Plymouth's players can use their hands in the box without any consequence.

Basically then the penalty excuse is blown right out of the window.

Yes ash I thought it wasstraight away too. I was siting low down in the left corner and mc auley pulled his shirt. It was a bit harsh but the most worrying thing is how he got done for pace you have to question if mcauley is good enough because that was inept defending he let best gat goal side of him. Olly should stop making silly excuses if he thinks thats harsh he should of been at chelsea in the fa cup or at wembley when speedie went down get a grip olly or youll be history.

just watched the highlights. Alwich should have saved both of those, no idea how the penalty and shot went through him like that

McCauley did pull his shirt a bit, to be fair though it was 50/50 and best was going nowhere and still had the ball and played on, just 'cos his shot was crap doesn't mean the ref should have stopped play and given a penalty

notoriously know for being a tight-arse at fulham and has not essentially supported his managers with money.

He has (spent approx £20m in the summer). Although before then and apart from an outlay of Steve Marlet, they spent more money getting the the Premiership. I think they may struggle to come back up, if they go down
