coale39 Posted 2 March 2008 Posted 2 March 2008 Just throwing this out there, what do we think of the 3.0 litre, V6 Mondeo ST220? Mates dads got one. Fantastic. What price you found it at? review http://www.channel4.com/4car/di/road+test/...impression/836/
Daggers Posted 2 March 2008 Posted 2 March 2008 TOYOTA CELICA. The wife's step-brother had one. He is a big ginger cnut. Plus, as a grown adult, he used to pretend his car was Kit from Knightrider...he even bought a flashing panel for the grill and talked to it. I'm really glad we never see him anymore.
The People's Hero Posted 2 March 2008 Author Posted 2 March 2008 I'm considering buying an ST220. If I'm making a huge mistake, someone tell me before tomorrow.
Zingari Posted 2 March 2008 Posted 2 March 2008 This is going to be the new Daggersmobile have you noticed it has left hand drive

AoWW Posted 2 March 2008 Posted 2 March 2008 Just throwing this out there, what do we think of the 3.0 litre, V6 Mondeo ST220? Haven't driven one on the road but have on the track a few times. I'm notoriously anti-Ford but this is a different beast altogther. Superb handling, lots of power and practical too, aside from the fairly poor fuel consumption, but - let's face it - what else are you gonna expect from a 3 litre engine? If you've found a decent one, I'd snap it up quick - there aren't that many around.
lookwhaticando Posted 3 March 2008 Posted 3 March 2008 An ST220 would be considered "economical" or perhaps even "environmentally friendly" in this smog filled hellhole we call North America. Taxman might even give you tax credit for owning a vehicle with only a three litre engine.

I'm going to ignore the fact that Ford is American and push on regardless.
AoWW Posted 3 March 2008 Posted 3 March 2008 ST220 it is. A Ford!!!!!! It's a downhill slide from this point on...
The People's Hero Posted 3 March 2008 Author Posted 3 March 2008  A Ford!!!!!! It's a downhill slide from this point on... You got a pipe I can borrow?
AoWW Posted 3 March 2008 Posted 3 March 2008 You got a pipe I can borrow? Nope, I've not yet reached that point.
The People's Hero Posted 3 March 2008 Author Posted 3 March 2008 Nope, I've not yet reached that point. Right, well, I'm off for a horlicks, then to read a book ferabit. Later on I'll jabber on endlessly to the missus about how much milk costs these days. Oh and the weather.

The People's Hero Posted 3 March 2008 Author Posted 3 March 2008 Getting it thursday. Fantastic drive.
