The People's Hero Posted 25 February 2008 Author Posted 25 February 2008 Didn't you follow your heart last time, resulting in being poor for the past year?Be sensible, earn more money, then buy a flashy car! If you have more money there will be more times like Crystal Palace and Chelsea away! I always go with my heart. That's what being me is all about. I don't regret Wilma for a second anyway. We and Wilma have had some good times! I just get the feeling she's gonna cost me a lot of money soon if I don't chop her in!
AoWW Posted 25 February 2008 Posted 25 February 2008 Get a Vauxhall. My heart says, buy something beautiful, worry about everything else later. Yes, yes, you know you want to. Sexy cars are where it's at. Get the Ford Focus ST. It's a Ford. Be sensible, earn more money, then buy a flashy car! SENSIBLE POST ALERT!!!
Alexikokopops Posted 25 February 2008 Posted 25 February 2008 SENSIBLE POST ALERT!!! I make about one a year, you're lucky you've seen it.

AoWW Posted 25 February 2008 Posted 25 February 2008 I always go with my heart. That's what being me is all about.I don't regret Wilma for a second anyway. We and Wilma have had some good times! I just get the feeling she's gonna cost me a lot of money soon if I don't chop her in! Hmmmmmm, what size engine is your rag-top? I'm so bored of my car desperation is setting in. PM me some details, eh, pet... There might even be some folks at Snetterton who'd be interested in her for track days... assuming it wouldn't upset your sensibilities to think of Wilma being thrashed to the hilt and screaming her lungs out?! I'll ask around if you're serious about getting rid. I make about one a year, you're lucky you've seen it. I'm just disappointed in you.
The People's Hero Posted 25 February 2008 Author Posted 25 February 2008 It's the 1.8 Vvti model. Lovely car and I'm struggling with the prospect of getting rid, but I really do need a boot. The cricket season is approaching for one thing! If I had sufficient money, I'd seriously keep it and get myself a sensible car as well, garage Wilma and run her at weekends.
Alexikokopops Posted 25 February 2008 Posted 25 February 2008 I'm just disappointed in you. Looking back at it I'm telling him to be sensible with his car so that he can throw his money away by coming to more Leicester matches. It's not quite so sensible as I once thought.

Basically, whatever I do I'm going to be left unfulfilled and regretful of the sad, inevitable loss of Wilma.
Ric Flair Posted 25 February 2008 Posted 25 February 2008 Other than the ridiculously expensive ones aren't they all a bit boring? Quattro's are the bollocks mate.
Alexikokopops Posted 25 February 2008 Posted 25 February 2008 Basically, whatever I do I'm going to be left unfulfilled and regretful of the sad, inevitable loss of Wilma. Not you you plunder in a silver Yaris with Fez and I!

The People's Hero Posted 25 February 2008 Author Posted 25 February 2008 The Celica will be a bit like what I've got now, with a couple of tiny back seats and a roof. I'm considering it though!
Ric Flair Posted 25 February 2008 Posted 25 February 2008 Fire up the Quattro! They are out of my pricerange I'm afraid, buddy. The 80's one shown above would be in your price range and you'd woo the shoulder padded ladies.

The People's Hero Posted 25 February 2008 Author Posted 25 February 2008 Im sure the Celica has a boot as well? Even more practical! So far I've got a test drive lined up for a Kia Ceed and a Skoda Octavia. Check out my badge-blindness!

danny. Posted 25 February 2008 Posted 25 February 2008 I'm looking for a diesel, can anyone recommend something? 8k or less
Bellend Sebastian Posted 25 February 2008 Posted 25 February 2008 Erm? Why? Because you'd be like me. Is that not reason enough? Don't answer that
Samilktray Posted 25 February 2008 Posted 25 February 2008 Ford Focus ST The original model was a very good car, the new one stands out a lot more though, not sure its as quick though. If you can find Civic Type R for a decent price, a very good car.
