davieG Posted 26 February 2008 Posted 26 February 2008 From OS Matty Fryatt has been named in the Leicester City reserve team squad to take on his former club Walsall at the Bescott Stadium today (Tuesday). Fryatt, who made 78 appearances for the Saddlers before moving to the Foxes in January 2006, was an unused substitute when City went down 2-0 to Coventry at the Ricoh Arena last weekend. And the 21-year-old hitman will be looking to boost his first team credentials at his old stomping ground ahead of Saturday's Championship clash against Cardiff City at Ninian Park. Elsewhere, James Wesolowski and Radi Kishishev will be looking to impress in midfield, while Barry Hayles and Gabor Bori are also included in the squad. Reserve team coach Gerry Taggart said: "We suffered the frustration of having a game postponed last week, so the lads can't wait to get their teeth into this one. "I have been really impressed with the attitude of both the senior lads and the youngsters. It's a good mix and we are all really looking forward to the game." Admission to the Pontin's Central Reserve League fixture is free of charge. Highlights of the match will be available on Leicester City World from 10:30am on Wednesday morning. City from: Henderson, Cox, Beswick, King, Garner, Rowe-Turner, Wesolowski, Kishishev, Fryatt, Hayles, Bori, Cobb, Pentney, King, O'Neill, Burns.

Mark Posted 26 February 2008 Posted 26 February 2008 Why isn't Chambers playing today? He must be injured, again, I don't think he's played an academy or reserves match in months.
Daggers Posted 26 February 2008 Posted 26 February 2008 I have no interest in any kind of sordid 'job' you want me to do. I'll do it MF - I'm not proud. In fact, every shred of pride I had has been stripped from me by fate - she has been a cruel mistress.
