Raj Posted 5 March 2008 Posted 5 March 2008 I went home at lunch yesterday to discover my cat at the back door wimpering and with blood trickling from his head. Turns out he had been shot at close range by a pellet gun!!We got him to the vets and they confirmed that he had been shot at close range in the side of the head, it just missed his brain!! What on earth is going through these yob's minds, it is terrible. I am sure even the people who don't like animals can agree this is bang out of order!! Anyway he is going to be fine thats the main thing, but a nice vets bill is waiting for me, which because of these wankers i am not happy about!!! I hate cats. BUt i cant understand how anyone could shoot it at close range with a pellet gun. Now i'd stick a rocket up its arse and light it!. Sorry...only joking Darker...Hope he/she gets better soon.

But on a serious note, it is disgusting, and this kind of thing seems to be happening more and more often. I noticed in our free newspaper the other day (because I don't read them or anything) that there have been a lot of attacks on cats with pellet guns recently around here. Hope your cat recovers well!
