Stevosevic Posted 12 March 2008 Posted 12 March 2008 Saw on the East Midlands Today, that apparently Mandaric has said they are trying their hardest to get a striker in on loan. Could make a huge impact, or just be more of the same rubbish we've currently got.

Bernie's Love Child Posted 12 March 2008 Posted 12 March 2008 It's Healy apparently.. Really? How do you know that?
davieG Posted 12 March 2008 Posted 12 March 2008 Hope it's someone experienced with a bit of a goalscoring record behind them. What? like Howard So Milan is taking over from Holloway now? What do you mean? NOW
Chromophobia Posted 12 March 2008 Posted 12 March 2008 Well my mate is a plumber, and he was telling me that he was fixing the toilet in Milan's office this afternoon, and he over heard him talking to someone called 'Roy' and he heard David Healy's name mentioned.
Jimmy Posted 12 March 2008 Posted 12 March 2008 It's Healy apparently.. that is a very good signing in this league, if true
sdb Posted 12 March 2008 Posted 12 March 2008 it'll only be someone of the same standard as what we've already got
Matt Posted 12 March 2008 Posted 12 March 2008 I'm not sticking up for our strikers for one second, Infact I ain't sticking up for any of our shite "players" we are where we are because of them, just an observation and question (That no-one can answer) Howard - 17 goals in just over a season. DJ Campbell - 9 Goal - Mostly coming of the bench last season, Perhaps coming of the bench late, meaning the opposition were more tired is the reason So there the new players, We havn't had Howard for the whole season can't expect him to have score 17, but certainly more than he has, DJ he's been injured a fair chunk of the season but still could have scored more than he has anyway...They scored that many last season, and have done the job of scoring there fair share in the past so how can these players just become shite - Just like that. As I said not sticking up for them, Its clear to see there not doing their job, Just can't understand it, a player just simple doesn't become shite or go from scoring shitloads to not scoring at all. The Leicester City Jinx.

I REALLY want to believe this!!!! I am sure Milan doesn't have an en suite office though!!!

Joe. Posted 12 March 2008 Posted 12 March 2008 David Healy? Yes please indeed. Whether this rumour is true at all is a completely different matter...
sdb Posted 12 March 2008 Posted 12 March 2008 Healy would be good, as would Nugent. But i reckon a spectacular return from either Nathan Blake or Carl Cort
davieG Posted 12 March 2008 Posted 12 March 2008 Well my mate is a plumber, and he was telling me that he was fixing the toilet in Milan's office this afternoon, and he over heard him talking to someone called 'Roy' and he heard David Healy's name mentioned. Well he didn't save Leeds!

The Leicester City Jinx. From last night. I would ditch all the strikers. etc. Hume, Fryatt, Howard, DJ and Hayles None of them stand out. I don't care about facts and they have scored for other clubs, your right they can't turn shit over night, or was it the players they were playing with using their strengths. We need goals simple, we need soeone to stick the ball in the back of the net. A player who isn't bothered about playing out of position, a player who dosen't stop trying, a player not afraid to shoot, a player who likes a challenge. And someone that can FOOKING score!
dandannieldanok Posted 12 March 2008 Posted 12 March 2008 What? like Howard I just wouldn't want to wish this relegation mess on a youngster breaking into the game for the first time, like poor old Kelvin Etuhu. Playing for us will put them off football for life and most likely ruin their career.
Matt Posted 12 March 2008 Posted 12 March 2008 Another point, Why would even a half-decent player what to come to this sinking ship?!
