Any idea if its true?

Hugely clutching at straws, but if Mandaric has been in their ear about it, that might have been why there was really odd friction/misinformation between Pompey and Ipswich over a loan move there.

I've just done a Google search, the first link is to a Cheltenham Town page that says the deadline for emergency loans is Thursday 23rd March.

The 23rd March is a Sunday.....

Can't see it being Nugent myself though....

I can't see us signing anyone, to be honest. And looking at some of the emergency loans that ARE flying around, I can see it being a top-half Championship reserve player if we do sign someone.

Nugent, Healy, Earnshaw were all sensible suggestions for players that would do well to come down to the Championship to get games - but we never get that lucky.

i would take Earnshaw OR Nugent.

People know we are desperate they will want money for the guy even if its just for 8 games....

Will they stop scoring or start playing badly? because thats what there doing already.

Super steve was the new striker! they didnt mean a new striker they just meant that they were working hard on fidning a new man within Howard!

The stats dont lie. The stats show Howard scores 0.4 a game. Thats over 18 over the course ofa season. When was the last time a player did that for us?

I think you need to reserve stats like that for when he actually score 18 for us in a season :thumbup:

I wouldn't mind getting that Freddie Sears on loan from West Ham, looks a cracking player from their academy again.

would you have said that before he got 10 mins vs B'Burn? cos i have never heard of him and now he scored a goal hes the next wayne rooney but not so fat or scouse.
