Fox You Forest Posted 7 April 2008 Posted 7 April 2008 Strangely that's a good result for us.I'm thinking if Stoke have secured a play-off place yet failed to get automatic promotion they might take their foot off the pedal for their last game with the play-offs a few days later! Then again they'll probably stuff us anyway Nah would have been better if they won. If they secure an automatic promotion place before our game they have nothing to play or keep in good shape for if they were in the play-offs they would have to keep going full steam to be in a good rhythm for the play-off semi's and possibly final.

demon_dog Posted 8 April 2008 Posted 8 April 2008 Sorry rushed to do this before I went to work and made a right c*ck up of it!!!! Hopefully the table will look better for us on Thurs morning.
00rawat Posted 8 April 2008 Posted 8 April 2008 Blackpool winning. Not helpful. Also Sheff Wednesday wining 1-0.
Matt Posted 8 April 2008 Posted 8 April 2008 If we can't do it ourselves why should we expect other teams to do it for us. We're not good enough and deserve to go down, pessimistic maybe, but honest.
FleckneyFox Posted 8 April 2008 Posted 8 April 2008 Im totally prepared to be relegated now we're just not producing the good and dont deserve to be in the division. The Saints will get another couple of results like they did against Brizzle, Barnsley have a couple of games in hand and are good at home (will probably beat us), Sheff Wed and Cov will finish a few points clear and we'll be down. I see us picking up 5 points max now if we keep playing like we are which wont be enough to keep us up. im so depressed.

Me too If Sheff Utd don't come back and Barnsley get a result tomorrow then I'm almost gonna start to accept relegation
maddog Posted 8 April 2008 Posted 8 April 2008 Sheff Wed are 1-0 up at half time. If Barnsley win tomorrow we are in the drop zone. Looks like we are competing with Cov and Southampton for the 3rd relegation spot now. Sheff Wed will get out of it, they will move above us Southampton and Cov if they hold on to their win, i feel Barnsley will get out based on their great cup run. It's between us Cov and Southampton and Barnsley although i rekon they may survive. Blackpool are also winning and will move 6 points clear of us.
Matt Posted 8 April 2008 Posted 8 April 2008 Sheff Utd 1 - 2 Sheff Wed (Sheff Utd's goal was from an OG)
Sods Posted 8 April 2008 Posted 8 April 2008 2-2 Finished. Not bad really. Makes that game in hand go away anyway.
FleckneyFox Posted 8 April 2008 Posted 8 April 2008 hmmm feeling a little better. Colchester is a simply must win and then 1 win from any of the other 3 SHOULD keep us up
Frenzied Posted 8 April 2008 Posted 8 April 2008 Sheff Weds and Sheff Utd was a decent result, considering we still have to play Weds. Blackpool losing means they're right back in it.

Joe. Posted 8 April 2008 Posted 8 April 2008 He may have destroyed us on Saturday but thank god for James Beattie.

Will be interesting to see how they do with their games in hand - Watford away tomorrow and Hull away next week (with Preston at home in between). Not the easiest of games by any stretch.
Koke Posted 8 April 2008 Posted 8 April 2008 Let's just hope Watford do the business tomorrow. On Saturday Coventry v Stoke Charlton v Saints Preston v Barnsley And then on Monday Wednesday v Plymouth Plymouth are unreliable gits so I reckon Wednesday will win that one.
