DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 1 April 2008 Posted 1 April 2008 If Cov win they are probably guaranteed safety and Sheff Wed remain in relegation zone. If they draw, Sheff Wed go to 20 and Southampton slips into bottom 3. If Sheff Wed win, they go 18th and Southampton slips into relegation zone.
Simi Posted 1 April 2008 Posted 1 April 2008 It's just 2 minutes walk from the train station so easy to get to. There's not much in Barnsley though it's a right dump. You won't want to stay for long! It's a decent sized stand that they give to visiting supporters. This was the view from my seat...

If they draw, Sheff Wed go to 20 and Southampton slips into bottom 3. If Sheff Wed win, they go 18th and Southampton slips into relegation zone. All things considered, what result do we want from this? Is a draw fine, or do we want Coventry to win because Wednesday are two points below us and will have a game in hand after tonight?
Bryn Posted 1 April 2008 Posted 1 April 2008 Our goals difference looks ever more significant. For all our shortcomings, four clean sheets this month. And yet you still twitter on about Shush! and how poor McAuley and Kisnorbo are.
Tilley Posted 1 April 2008 Posted 1 April 2008 A draw would be suffice. Keeps cov within touching distance but doesn't give Sheff Wed a huge push either.
Fat Ron Posted 1 April 2008 Posted 1 April 2008 If wee are looking at who we need to keep tabs on then realistically its Southampton. We have played the same amount og games and we have 1 more point. Wednesday and Barnsley both have games in hand and until they have caught up on those games the table will be impossible to predict. All we have to do is concentrate on our own games and keep an eye on the Saints downfall

Asha Posted 1 April 2008 Posted 1 April 2008 May be in live chat tonight. Nowt else to do. Could be big result.
Scow Posted 1 April 2008 Posted 1 April 2008 Blackpool are not out of it just yet - they've got a tough fixture list. West Brom (H) Cardiff (A) Sheffield Wednesday (H) Plymouth (A) Watford (H)
Legend_in_blue Posted 1 April 2008 Posted 1 April 2008 Sheffield Wednesday 0 - 0 Coventry (Half Time) Cov scored. However, Dowie thinks that the teams involved in the drop are Sheff Wed, Barnsley and Southampton. No mention of us or Cov! Read into that what you will...! Numpty.
00rawat Posted 1 April 2008 Posted 1 April 2008 Sheffield Wednesday 0 - 0 Coventry (Half Time) 1-0 to Coventry now 82

dandannieldanok Posted 1 April 2008 Posted 1 April 2008 Fooking Cov, you can't rely on them for anything.
Mark Posted 1 April 2008 Posted 1 April 2008 1-1 is a great result, we don't want either team pulling away but Cov especially as Chris Coleman hasn't won an away game for about 2 years and they've more away than home games remaining.

crisp monster Posted 1 April 2008 Posted 1 April 2008 a good result for us - i wouldn't have minded a sheff wed victory thb covs next 2 are watford away and stoke at home i know the're down there but with scunny and blackpool away and norwich and plymouth at home i can just see wednesday getting enough points. barnsley and soton are still our best bet though
