He bosses the defence when he plays and is always good for a goal or two. Every team needs a fighter. He was ours. Now we have nobody with that sort of spirit. Hume sulks half the time before anyone says anything.

With the best defence in the league now, I have to say we don't miss him in the slightest. Oh and Leicester always rubbish? We had more of an impact on the Premiership than Charlton ever have, or will ever do. Not to say that we deserve to be up there or are better than you now, but to say we have always been rubbish is moronic.

Our defense is a lot better now, and I wouldn't take him back even for free. £650.000, you've got give Martin Allen a pad on the back for this piece of brilliant business.

Hume sulks half the time before anyone says anything. Sorry but he was an awful captain. He may have been a fighter and worked hard but a lot of the time he was an absolute idiot. A captain is supposed to lead by example and Paddy McCarthy talked himself into the book way too much for my liking. He was always a one to give away stupid fouls too in dangerous positions.
