Very briefly, while channel-hopping (no, honest!), Songs of Praise... since when has the carol become "Good Christians All Rejoice" instead of "Good Christian Men Rejoice"? Is this yet another bizarre form of political correctness gone mad? Should I have been deeply offended by the 'other version' all these years? :S:dunno:

I think it's a great movie, considering it was Ben Affleck's first major production as a director. Well, the novel it's based on is a great story, anyway - same author that did "Mystic River" (which also coincidentally plays in Boston). I loved the twists and turns and the violence is never attention-seeking or over-the-top. It's got its thrilling moments, as well. Highly recommendable. :thumbup:

Watched it yesterday after you recommended it. I must say, it's one of the best films i've seen this year and that's the first time i've knowingly seen Casey Affleck in a film and he was absolutely superb.

It's a very thought provocking film and one i'm still unsure on where I sit with it. I urge others to watch it, very good.
