Lisburn Fox Posted 9 April 2008 Posted 9 April 2008 First things first WE WILL NOT BE RELAGATED. Ollie will stay. Give the man a realistic target ant to me that is a full pre season and at the end of that we must be play off contenders next season. So end all this Ollie out stuff, because realistically there maybe some people around who are as good as our manager and maybe some who are proven in lower leagues but big names who have had success does not guarentee that success for us. Look at the 1 or 2 who have had success they all have 1 thing in common, time to build thier own team.
davieG Posted 9 April 2008 Posted 9 April 2008 Not thought about relegation, the only thing on my mind at the moment is sex, women and what will be on the dinner table tonight!!If we get relegated, the emotions will decide for themselves!!! Isn't that the same thing
Daggers Posted 9 April 2008 Posted 9 April 2008 ... it's a pity some people set their sights so low. I find it a pity some people don't realise you can't change your manager every six weeks. 1. We can not afford to keep paying managers off. 2. The players need some consistency of approach - if you don't appreciate this now there is nothing anybody is going to be able to say in order to help you understand. Think for a minute about how many different managerial teams Stearman has played under, it's nothing short of a ****ing disgrace.

Question should be this - what percentage of the current playing squad would you keep? They've let him down big time.
Tevez Posted 9 April 2008 Posted 9 April 2008 Ian Holloway is the man, he's had a shit squad to deal with 'cos the players been affected with 3 managers different style of play. Lets see what this bloke can do pre season.
Daggers Posted 9 April 2008 Posted 9 April 2008 Keep IH. Top bloke.Question should be this - what percentage of the current playing squad would you keep? They've let him down big time. He'll buy a keeper or two, augment the defense and rape the midfield/attacking options...providing Mr 'cut my veins and I'll bleed Leicester City' Manderic funds him. Otherwise we're in for yet another sluggish season.
Father Ted Posted 10 April 2008 Posted 10 April 2008 If he was to take us down he certainly doesn't deserve a job, but we must think about what's best for the club.
Father Ted Posted 10 April 2008 Posted 10 April 2008 Keep IH. Top bloke.Question should be this - what percentage of the current playing squad would you keep? They've let him down big time. More like he's let us down big time. So called 'Mr.Motivator' has done no motivating. And he is also called a manager and if he had actually 'managed' the team properly, like it is believed that in the week before the loan window closed he spent all week at other clubs training grounds looking for players.
Fat Ron Posted 10 April 2008 Posted 10 April 2008 Surely we're in as bad a situtation now as the same time last season when MM booted out RK and replaced him with Wortho... Yet we have talks of whether IH should keep his job if he gets us relegated because that makes complete sense I know i'll probably get slated for this but personally I'd get rid of Ollie regardless of whether we stay up or go down because IMO Ollies out of his depth. I gave him the benefit of doubt until now as the situtation is getting quite serious, quite quickly. We do look like this could be the season of relegation and yet Ollie still appears to be acting like a clown, blaming officials, trying to sign up more loan signing because the players he already brought in are useless and using every excuse available but he isn't kicking the over-paided players a***s into playing football with some passion and pride for us instead of doing a douglas and just sponging off us!!! We all know that we have serious problems and IMO we need a manager with more experience, somebody whos been around the block abit like Warnock and doesn't take the kind of s*** we see week in, week out from the players. As much as I love our club, I don't think I could take too much more of these terrible seasons, scrapping in a relegation dogfight any more. Enoughs enough. But with Ollie at the helm we're far too inconsistant and once we go down by a goal, well forget getting any points. With us not getting enough wins, do we really need a manager that can't get his team to score for another season?? So the sooner Ollies gone, the better for me. As for replacements, why not bring back Adams. Or as everybody keeps talking about rookies try Walsh, he can't do any worse any Ollie. Why not just go into Administration or better still, Lets fold
Monk Posted 10 April 2008 Posted 10 April 2008 There are a lot of things which have annoyed me about Holloway this season. His media obsession is one of them. When I saw that speech on Bristol Rovers it really wound me up. If we stay up, yes we should keep him, and I doubt that Mandy would fork out the payoff. However there would still need to be some major re shuffling in the close season. If however we go down. Hmm tough one. I want stability as much as the next guy but I'm not really confident based on what I've seen that he'd get us promoted. We need a proven 'steady' manager. Brian Little comes to mind.
Dr The Singh Posted 10 April 2008 Posted 10 April 2008 Isn't that the same thing Not at my place i'm lucky to just get the dinner, but if that's what goes on at yours, i'm inviting myself to yours for dinner!!!
CKB Posted 10 April 2008 Posted 10 April 2008 Simply reply to this question? Yes either way give him 3 months at the start of the new season, things not picked up sorry but then decisions have to be made by Milan..
Trav Le Bleu Posted 10 April 2008 Posted 10 April 2008 If he takes us down he needs shooting. We were safe until he came. We were? This thread has made me smile for all the wrong reasons - especially all the people who want to sack Ollie, but can't name a replacement who will do any better (other than the obviously unobtainable ones). For me, I'd keep him. Sometimes his antics are bewildering, sometimes I really have to tip my hat, but I honestly believe that he really hasn't had the run of the green and that any manager would have had trouble sorting out our mess. It's been a weird season - we would have been safe with several games in hand at this point last season witht the points we have now, but it's looking like at least 53 to be safe, maybe 54. Oh, and Disco Bob... your quaquaversal and perdurable interdiction of the erroneous use of the word "worser", and your subsequent magniloquent diatribe, is perfidious at best!
WetFlannel Posted 10 April 2008 Posted 10 April 2008 we need to keep oin charge to keep the side's confidence up
WetFlannel Posted 10 April 2008 Posted 10 April 2008 sorry typo-i just fink sacking him gets us nowhere espcially next year. milan will give him up to november to prove himself

renards Posted 10 April 2008 Posted 10 April 2008 Keep IH. Top bloke.Question should be this - what percentage of the current playing squad would you keep? They've let him down big time. What the f... He lies the problem. We don't need a top bloke 'call me Ollie' He's done nothing to suggest he will be a sucess, top bloke?? we need a manager. The mans a clown..will he ever blame himself for a defeat and not the pylons or other 'grinding' stupid comments. The club needs a Brian Little style shake up, this loon is not up to it.

You know, us - Leicester. I'm sure we were quite a few points clear of relegation when Gary Megson left. I didn't write thisOr this
