Oh holy fvcking shit you are. Yes it could all be play acting, or there could be a scientific explanation, but... ...it's far easier for the simple-minded to make something up instead. One thing I have definately found is that Science, whilst beautiful and incredible as a whole, and something that we cant live without, always changes. That is true. No it isn't, unless you are on drugs. Obviously there are many confirmed facts that will remain the same, but still many 'facts' that will change. Ahh, you are on drugs. Its also interesting to see that Science hasnt disproved anything in The Bible You are on drugs and taking the piss. What a steaming pile of shit this is. ...if anything its proved a lot of it to be true and continues to do so. And thats the only thing that stays the same and so far has stood the test of time. Things like mountains in the oceans, cleansing by running water, even earth floating in space have all come good over the years. Drugs are very bad children. Rincewind Posted 8 June 2012 Posted 8 June 2012 The amount of water needed for a flood of the Noah's Ark proportion would be more than the Earth contains. The size of the Ark would have to be larger than any around today and to get animals aboard in the time given in the Bible would be impossible. The size of the Ark going by the size given would not be able to fit all the animals. And another thing if all life outside the Ark perished what did the herbivores eat when leaving the Ark? And if ghosts are so dangerous why haven't they taken over the world?

Kitchandro Posted 8 June 2012 Posted 8 June 2012 My Dad is sure he's seen 2 ghosts and a UFO, but maintains he doesn't believe in that sort of thing.... He and my Mum were in Italy once and both said they were shook awake by someone, and saw a dark figure in front of them. They were both genuinely terrified and when they went to check the other rooms everyone was fast asleep, and they wouldn't do that kind of thing anyway. Like with the universe thread, there is no right or wrong answer, it's perfectly plausible ghosts could exist, though there are reasonable explanations for a lot of 'encounters'.
