Flexx Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 I don't care what the Plymouth fans are going to say. Not bothered with yet another manager getting sacked. Because at the end of the day, it hasn't worked out for Ollie here. I think the problem is deep inside him is regret. He wishes he didn't leave a Plymouth promotion push for this. Yes - we need stability. But we need stability with a manager taking us at least forward a bit. Holloway is taking us backwards, none of our players play for him. In fact, i still cannot believe people are still saying they want him even if we're in League 1 next year! He did well at Plymouth, but do you remember what happened at QPR? He was placed on gardening leave without any fight or bother. He's got to big headed recently, thinks he's god because he's funny. But at the end of the day, he could be the 1st manager to take this team below the top 2 divisions. OUT! And don't delete this, admit it. He needs to go.
Jack Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 And what good would it do for us to sack a manager with 3 games left.
Joe. Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 Here we go again... For the record, I think Hume's saved Holloway's job for another week.
Leicester Lass Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 And what good would it do for us to sack a manager with 3 games left. Case closed as far as I'm concerned.

Yes because he spoke to us (a bigger and better challenge than QPR, a step up). Not because he did anything bad. And you say hes got big headed. Why? Whats he said towarrant this. He could be the first manager to take us below the top two divisions - but it is'nt him alone.
Rocky Dennis Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 Out (in the summer) Reasons.. 1) The signing of Howard, he's shit. 2) Sticking with Howard in the team. 3) The statement " Howard is the best centre forward in this division" Nuff said 4) Player motivation, is there any? 5) The quips and jokes, getting boring now, you're taking us down you prat. 6) The Hungarians, pointless signings 7) Tactics, hoof ball to a forward who cant/wont jump Theres others but I cant be arsed, the thing that done it for me today was the way he sat in the dug-out after they scored like he didnt have a clue what to do! What message does that send to the players? The bloke is way out of his depth and I personally cant beleive Milan will stick with him.
maddog Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 No point sacking him with 3 games left. Milan will definately sack him at the end of the season though.
Father Ted Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 I really really don't think at the moment that Ollie is up for the job but there's no point sacking him with 3 games to go.
Moreton Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 I really really don't think at the moment that Ollie is up for the job but there's no point sacking him with 3 games to go. If Holloway aint up for the job then well erm i have no idea what we should do...
Nod.E Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 I'm torn on this one. He should go in the summer, no doubt. But with 3 games left? Debatable. On one hand it may unsettle players etc.. But hiring Gerry and Walshy = Passion when it's needed? Not sure.

Well Hiring people with no managerial experience is becoming popular now (Ince, Grayson, Fergeson Jr) Why not give them a chance (If Holloway gets the boot of course)

See there is not logic in sacking holloway now........ just take what little confidence that players have away! Plus Its not over people need to realise that the next 2 games are our most important, sheff wed and barnsley! if we dont get the results needed against these team`s then we don`t deserve to be in the division end of.....
Ultra Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 The **** has clearly lost the dressing room. Might as well get rid now, and allow us to start to prepare for a League 1 promotion campaign straight away.

volpeazzurro Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 And what good would it do for us to sack a manager with 3 games left. It would give me for one a huge amount of pleasure and some hope for the future!
Uncle Monty Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 The ****er has to go. I just read that he is 'Confident of survival' after hume's 89th minute equaliser. A game we should have won. Already relegated colchester - the man is a disgrace.
Daggers Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 It would give me for one a huge amount of pleasure and some hope for the future! Having unprotected sex with a lady might be a more proactive use of your time if these are your desired outcomes
teblin Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 Did anyone hear him maon about people talking about us not being in the third division before said something like "it doesn't matter"?

I still think De Vries would have as much as Howard, why on earth we've let him go is beyond me.
maddog Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 Ollie out! If he's gonna go at the end of the season why not sack him now? Get Walsh and Taggs in for the last 3 matches why not?
Fox You Forest Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 If he's gonna go at the end of the season why not sack him now? Is he going at the end of the season? Yes im Maddogist!
Manager Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 Never read the thread and I am sorry if I am boring all of the astute football manager watchers on here. Ollie is a clown, always was a clown, always will be a clown. If we want a clown in charge, our wishes have come true. Game as a badger and all that - but we are a football club - not a set. Now, Milan, if you had purchased a bank you would want a banker in charge, but you purchased a FOOTBALL CLUB so you need a person (male or female) who knows what is required to win football matches. This manager may be a boring old f*rt, but - hey - you can hire a comedian(ne) when you are bored. "Ollie's Army" was what we all craved - and what did we get? Hayles, Howard, Bori, Lazco, et al - well actually we lost Al !!! - and Leeds are delighted!!
