Floating Fox Posted 30 April 2008 Posted 30 April 2008 Yes indeed can't wait now! It could be the greatest or worst game for along time. German chants if we stay up.
Sods Posted 30 April 2008 Posted 30 April 2008 German chants if we stay up. YES! Mate last night, Brackley played Rushden in the county cup final it was at Rushden so we took a fair few, more then they had in fact. Was an absolute gem of a night, different songs being sung all the time. But the most sung and favourite done the whole night was SEVEN NATION ARMY. It is now Brackley Town's finest song. We also had a encounter with the stewards at the game which would have made you laugh, COUNTY CUP game and they are trying to sit us down. We obviously didn't then they tried taking our bottle lids! Was a great night!

I meant to go to a Leam game last season, living there and all. Couldn't persuade my housemates with the cars to go too, damned if I was gonna walk.
congletonstoke Posted 1 May 2008 Posted 1 May 2008 Are you lot as nervous as we all seem to be for this one ?? It's keeping me awake at night now, will be a fantastic atmosphere. I did tell you all ages ago it would be on Sky, to those who doubted me. For a beer before the game there is the Harvester (NO COLORS) right across from the ground, you will see it as you pull on to the site, or the power league (go straight across the big roundabout, behind the away end it's about 500 yards up the road on your right hand side) Parking is a nightmare, there is no system in place and it's a free for all. With a big crowd it will be chaos !!! Don't be tempted to park on grass verges etc as the traffic wardens will have another field day !! You can park on the power league car park (That's £4) and you will get away quite quickly, or the harvester car park. I would get there early as spaces are limited. Other than that it's the Trent car park (about 10 Min's walk to the ground) at a £5 a car. (This is a nightmare to get off!!) See you all Sunday !!!!

Thanks for that mate, I'm sure everyone travelling will appreciate it, But as for me, I'll be drinking from my fridge & parking my arse on the sofa.

I think i parked in a hotel carpark last time? and it was quite cheap? I think that could have been next to the Harvester or probably was the Harvester? Took me ages to get out. So.. if i drive straight past that on my left (ground on the right) and then over a roundabout, 500 yards up is where the power league is to park?
Messi Posted 1 May 2008 Posted 1 May 2008 Thanks for that mate, I'm sure everyone travelling will appreciate it,But as for me, I'll be drinking from my fridge & parking my arse on the sofa. That was my plan...but Leicester have rang up and i just got tickets :w00t:
