Fox You Forest Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 Im gutted. Clapham's performance was the worst i have seen in a long time. Thats all im writing about todays match as i now feel i have matched the players efforts for today.
Free Falling Foxes Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 Well, I had a proud, though perhaps foolish, record until today. I have never left before the final whistle. When that 3rd went in I had worked out that I had .43 secs to get out my seat and away before the cheering of the Wednesday fans reached me Well done Holloway! For this alone, you should be dismissed - never to work again. FFF PS I must increase the font size of my sig - & BOLD it
Ultra Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 Why are we quite this bad? I really don't understand why in front of 31k, 1-3 is the best we can do. Is Holloway the worst manager ever or something? Is the Pope a Catholic? Do bears sh!t in the woods? Did Fryatt fail to score again today? There are some questions which by now should not even need to be asked.
reynard Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 First up well done to Brian Laws for obviously saying oemthing at half time that turned the game around. I don't know what he said but the first 10 mins of the second half were the pivotal one for me. Instead of coming out on the attack we looked half asleep and a positive attacking move by them led to their 2nd goal and from then on we just ran around like headless chickens. So despite being 1 up against a side with a severe injury list we still managed to balls it up. Whilst our clown of a manager was probably cracking jokes at half time wednesday sorted out their problems and looked likely winners for all the second half. So thanks Ollie for 1 Being the worst manager ever to mangage our club. 2 for having no tactical ability whatsoever. (what the hell made you play Hume wide left in second half) 3 For putting square pegs in round holes. 4 For buying players either past it or not up to it. 5 For apparently having no motivational skills whatsoever. If we are relegated then please please do the honourable thing and resign but you wont will you because honour is not part of your vocabulary. And thanks to the players. You obviously don't care about playing for Leicester, have the skill levels of a 3 legged donkey and the guts and backbone of a spneless jellyfish. If we are relegated none of you will be good enough to get this club promoted. Not one of them is it to wear our shirt and to be remembered alongside former players who have graced our once great club.
Tommeh Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 I feel absolutely horrible. Was so close to tears when the 3rd went in and just sat there a the top of L1 with everyone in absolute silence, listening to "thats why your going down" ringing in my ears from the wednesday fans. Thats when it hit me, we are going down, we actually are. Words cannot desribe how bad and depressed i feel at the moment. I've just been listening to some phone in god knows where from and it's full of Man utd fans moaning about drawing with Barca and loosing to Chelsea. They will NEVER feel the way I feel now. Was suppost to be going out tonight, before the game was deciding which party to go to, now its neither.
Cropwellfox Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 It's remarkable how today's game reflected so much our entire season....The game/season started in bright sunshine, and you could really feel hope and expectation around the ground, and early on the signs looked pretty good without being spectacular. Then the game/season was derailed by an unexpected personnel change which immediately knocked the wind out of our sails, and after that we were always on the back foot. Second half of the game / season was spent with our only real threat up front out of position, no tactical response to a team who worked out our weak spots and how to exploit them, and the game/season ended with farcical defensive mistakes, players who looked like they didn't want to be on the pitch, and supporters who had dared to dream that with financial backing this could be a decent season feeling numb and sick.
Cal Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 Im suprised theres no threads on 'League One' or 'Who will stay if we go down.'

Benjani Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 This is a worrying statement from Ollies post match interview. We now need West Brom to beat Southampton on Monday evening. If they don't then we have got to go to Stoke and get something. We may well have to go there and get all three Is he implying that we only need to get a result against Stoke if Southampton beat West Brom

Daggers Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 Only one who stayed on the pitch at the end was Stearman - says it all, useless twats the rest of em. Nope - Bell was there too. The only two. I have nothing else to say about the match at the moment.

He had no chance with any of the goals. The rest of the fcukwits, Stearman included, can burn in hell.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 I feel absolutely horrible. Was suppost to be going out tonight, before the game was deciding which party to go to, now its neither. Pretty much the same, was meant to be going to a house party in London but just couldn't face it at all. I feel like I've given up so much of my life to this and it's at the lowest ebb tonight. I was expecting us not to win this game but I didn't realise how I'd feel when we didn't. I'm one of the lucky ones that has a ticket for Stoke so I'll be going but part of me just wants to go away somewhere for the weekend and try to forget all about it. I suppose I will have that luxury when this is all over for the summer. I've only seen us relegated in the flesh once before - last time it happened - at Charlton when we drew 2-2. It had felt pretty inevitable for most of the season and certainly leading up to it. Different this time for many reasons. I'm just praying Southampton lose on Monday night and then fail to beat Sheffield United. People talk about the idea that we shouldn't rely on other teams but I feel like Leicester is "another team" at the moment. The team has changed week by week, the fans decide to turn up when it dawns on them that it's important. It's all already been said about the chairman, manager and club as a whole. It doesn't matter how it happens now as long as we are above that dotted line when everyone has played 46 times. There are a lot of people who will never understand what it feels like to be left this upset and frustrated by something so ultimately meaningless.

You're right there mate. Early today my son told me he's going to be a Dad - But all I've been able to think about all day is that shower of shite. I really must get my priorites right -

thecannon Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 No passion out there today. Also i could not see Holloway insight after we went 2 1 down! He needed to get the players fired up!
teblin Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 I couldn't bring myself to boo, whats the point most of the players don't care. Didn't move for about 5 mins after the whistle, dejected. We may still stay up, but we damn well deserve to go down.
