NorthernFox Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 Blur summed it up best "and it really really really could happen". But ever optimistic, Jekyll & Hyde City (formally known as LCFC) turn up at the Brittania and totally fook up the promotion party.
Webbo Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 Needless to say I'm absolutely gutted, I don't have anything to say.
The Stig Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 My god Stoke will be a hell of a game next week! I'm watching Saints Monday night. Pleas god make them mess up.
Jack Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 The turning point for me today is when Kisnorbo went off injured.
ASH17LCFC Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 I said we would go down about 2 months ago and maybes put it in his sig thinking he was funny. We derserve to go down in all honestly and i like how some people are blaming the fans
The Reverend Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 I cannot even begin to describe how gutted and upset I feel. I simply broke down in tears when their third goal went in One game left, and if we're going to go down, at least make sure we put up a bit of a fooking fight. It's not over yet, so let's show people what LCFC is really made of. Prepare for some abuse. Fair does, im man enough to take that. The fact of the matter is if the whole crowd had continued after they had equalised, as it had for the first half hour or whatever, we wouldnt of lost that match. Its fecking shit that we have to get behind them, we shouldnt have to sing for them for 90 minutes for them to try, but this lot we DO. But i suppose thats what you get when all the part timers turn up. As soon as the opposition score...oh feck this we're shit, blah blah blah.
Mark Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 Is Holloway the worst manager ever or something? Well he makes some of the worst tactical decisions, thats for sure.

lildave3 Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 Also, god knows what Barry was doing with his arm up like that.
The Reverend Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 Hardly a fact True, but it would of been a whole different game for Wednesday. They have good support, and i didnt hear them for half an hour until they scored. I was just exaggerating.
andy peake Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 The fat lady is now on the stage and she's clearing her throat. I think that's it chaps. There's only so many chances you can screw up over a season.
Tilley Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 Can't put SSN on. 'Sheff Wed get a valuable 3 points at Leicester'
Mark Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 We didn't have a chance the moment Kisnorbo went off, our defence is overated and is just nothing without him.
yorksfox Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 We didn't have a chance the moment Kisnorbo went off, our defence is overated and is just nothing without him. Kelly, Worthington, Allen, Megson, Holloway........ are we a Championship club or the local pub side where the locals take it in turns to be 'the boss'. (Apologies to all pub sides who are undoubtedly well run and at least try and have a bit of continuity)
Joe. Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 I didn't realise until today how much our defence relies on Kisnorbo. In general I trust McAuley, and Stearman most of the time. But none of the rest are good enough for us and are always prone to errors as shown today.
Bert Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 I'd just like to congratulate the defence for watching Sheffield Wednesday play football in our box for the 2nd goal.
Uncle Albert Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 I didn't realise until today how much our defence relies on Kisnorbo. In general I trust McAuley, and Stearman most of the time. But none of the rest are good enough for us and are always prone to errors as shown today. Jamie Clapham was awful. I knew things were going to go bad as soon as I seen that stretcher, N'Gotty didnt have a clue today.
stevec Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 Players died after promising start Holloway couldn't tactically get himself out of a paper bag (which is why we are going down ultimately) Howard is a mardy, lazy, couldn't care less feck Hume is good up front but a mardy twat - even had a go at the linesman when he accidently "touched" him with his flag N'Gotty had his worse game for us ever and has to go - hes past it Referee/linesman were shit - missed some nasty tackles (on Kisnorbo, Weso especially) which should have been red cards and we had a few hand balls that should have been penalties not given for us Holloway couldn't tactically get himself out of a paper bag (which is why we are going down ultimately) My wife doesn't understand why I am so fed up Somehow Sheff Weds smuggled the defence they had in the first half out of the stadium and replaced them all with different players in the second half Looks like I'm going City on my own next season as everyone who stands near me reckon they had enough and are not paying for Div 1 football Fryatt might find his level again in Div 1 and I expect a press release from him any day to say how he is sticking with us even when we go down Holloway couldn't tactically get himself out of a paper bag (which is why we are going down ultimately)
Darkzzz_ Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 Empty, numb, dejected, upset.... It's us that has it all on our shoulders.... The players can all go and find new clubs (if anybody will take them) but when it comes down to it they do not care about this club like us, we used to be a family on and off the pitch, us fans, we have always done our job, but the playing and management side have let us down in a massive way!! Its us that spend the money, shed the tears.... i can list a handfull in them changing rooms who probably would be genuine in regards for the feelings for this club....But the rest??? Its obvious we are just a wage slip for them.... When i seen the passion in Birch's run today, he was grabbing that Leicester badge like it meant something.... do you see any of that on the pitch?? NO..... I really thought it was going to be our day.... I really felt it..... But i should not have been so stupid.... Its us.... Its what we have become.... or own worst enemy!! I think we really do deserve to go down.... we had the chance and we blew it.... I am like all of you tonight, devasted, heartbroken, but i am a realist..... We are shocking, and what has gone on behind the scenes at this club have had massive implications in determining where our future lies.... These are dark dark days for our club.... where we go from here in the long term i have not got the answer like most of us.... (well league 1 it looks like) Its devastating!!! But really ask yourself..... Is it at all suprising??
The Stig Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 A one, a two, a one two three four ALWAYS LOOK ON THE BRIGHT SIDE OF LIFE, DOO DOO....
Joe. Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 I'm still in such a shit mood. God this is depressing.
Milky Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 I'm still in such a shit mood. God this is depressing. You should try recovering from a mental breakdown at the same time.
