Not wanting to pick a fight, but when has an team got a ground where the whole ground sing??

I think people want too much! Even at filber street it was the kop doing the leg work!

That's the point! We NEVER do, but for the first 30 minutes today, we did. And as soon as they scored, that stopped, at the most crucial time in the game.

Unless you get a ground full of truly passionate fans then you never will.

People benchmark the atmosphere against filbert street yet the same people sing but the acoustics are against them. Never at filbert street did everyone sing. On this basis, i dont know what your argument is.

were you at the same game? He sits down every time we go behind. He was on his ass for a good 10 minutes after they went ahead. He lacks ideas, he lacks the know how, he lacks the true passion. He's here for the money, not the club. I would be too on his wage. No need to get defensive about it, its true!

Lack of tectical direction cost us today. N'gotty cant be blamed for it all. We left it until 75 minutes before a change was made yet we was behing on about 55 minutes was it?? We never looked like scoring after 30 minutes.

He was up and down though... you were making it out that he was sitting down for great long stretches of time... I don't think he was sitting down for 10 minutes... that is a slight exaggeration.

OK, he didn't really seem to make effective changes today and I agree, he needs to sort it out as he hasn't been good enough... I can only hope that if he will sort it out over summer and surprise everyone by winning us the league next year IN the Championship... I'm still hoping we will stay up... I'll never give up until it looks virtually impossible OR we have actually BEEN relegated...

Couldn't bear to come on site any earlier, was at a total loss as to what to say.

Looking back on the game I think some fundamental errors were made by Ollie.

Why change the team around at half time, Hume was running rings round their back line, I would in fact probably have brought DJ on in place of Hayles as it was clearly obvious that they did not like anyone with pace running at them.

Would have replaced Howard with Fryatt with 30 mins to go .

It seemed stupid pulling off Hume and Hayles with 15 mins to go and putting DJ and Fryatt up front.

Neither of them this season have shown their ability to score goals so what was the point.

I have always backed Ollie but I do believe that he has shown himself to be out of his depth when it comes to tactics.

If we do go down would probably keep him as manager but if (AND IT'S A BIG IF) we manage to stay up I would probably like to see him replaced with someone with a bit more nous.

All in all can simply say that if we cannot put up a good performance with a home crowd of 28K+ fans then we deserve to go down.

Well today wasn't a ground full of truly passionate fans. In fact i'd say around 5,000+ of them were part timers. But they/we still created a cauldron for the first half hour or so. There isnt really an argument. I'm just stating that i think, had we of continued with that support, we wouldn't of lost the game. Thats my view.

:dunno: Just get pissed and let someone else care and wqorry :dunno:

Thats what ive done, we deserved to be relefated weeks ago but we have somehow carried on staying safe (God knows how) the players have had god knows how many chances and let off's, we give them full support and full house, get a goal and still fuk it up.

Lets just adopt the players mentality and feeling...Let someone else care and worry, which as ive aslreayd said I have...got pissed, and really not too bothered about us almost dropping, we'll still be their next season.:rolleyes:

I hope every one of our players football career is over...we all know that won't be the case though, some poor club with poor fans will have to put up with theur shite next season.

Fook the atmosphere issue... what is it going to change if we keep banging on about it!!

I appreciate all sides of the debate, but if people want to sing they sing if they dont then they dont, i personally like to be vocal, but i wouldnt say i stand there singing all game!!

The point is here.... Us.... Leicester City football club is on the verge of the biggest moment in the history of the club, Filbert street, Play off finals, Wembley, League Cup finals, Uefa cup football, O'Neil, Premiership football..... Thats all a memory, this is now.....

We are going down.... I really am set on that, we deserve to go down.... Obviously i want to stay in this league so so deperately but we have been so so poor.....

They are taking the piss out of us, they give us false hope, the club that used to be our friend has now turned into the friend thats screwing our wife behind our backs!!

As i said before.... dark dark days!!!

Poor old Milan Mandaric. He has the judgement of a gnat. Can't appoint decent managers, sacks or meddles when they are half reasonable and doesn't sack the one he should have weeks ago. Now our "saviour" has turned out to be our liability. There's nowhere else to point the finger but at his door. Be interesting to listen to his assessment and admittance of his part in this debacle.

Yesterday was woeful. We had them on the back stick for the first 20 munites yet our strikers can't seem to ever put the ball in the net. The possibility of us going down has been on my mind ever since we lost to Preston, But now it's got to that point you think the players have just came to terms with it and just gave up. Nice to know we pay hundreds of pounds for season tickets and we see possibly 6-7 good home games, then the players give up.

i was distraught yesterday about the situation were in but if we go down i blame the players for not getting their heads in the game and starting to get abti of consistancy.

I wish people wouldn't exaggerate to emphasise a point 6-7 :crylaugh: no more than 4!!!!! ;)

You're right there mate.

Early today my son told me he's going to be a Dad - :)

But all I've been able to think about all day is that shower of shite.

I really must get my priorites right - :(

Congratulations Gramps! :D

My son is eight today - I get to pop on here while he is playing with everything at once...but it's time to go and join the rest of the family. There's a part of my stomach that feels funny, but it will pass. In five minutes time I'll be leading a Gormiti attack on a lava volcano and LCFC will not exist in my realm on consciousness. In an hours time we'll be tucking into a cavery. I think I will try to get us to recreate the Players Awards Meal.

First up well done to Brian Laws for obviously saying oemthing at half time that turned the game around. I don't know what he said but the first 10 mins of the second half were the pivotal one for me. Instead of coming out on the attack we looked half asleep and a positive attacking move by them led to their 2nd goal and from then on we just ran around like headless chickens.

So despite being 1 up against a side with a severe injury list we still managed to balls it up.

Whilst our clown of a manager was probably cracking jokes at half time wednesday sorted out their problems and looked likely winners for all the second half.

So thanks Ollie

for

1 Being the worst manager ever to mangage our club.

2 for having no tactical ability whatsoever. (what the hell made you play Hume wide left in second half)

3 For putting square pegs in round holes.

4 For buying players either past it or not up to it.

5 For apparently having no motivational skills whatsoever.

If we are relegated then please please do the honourable thing and resign but you wont will you because honour is not part of your vocabulary.

And thanks to the players.

You obviously don't care about playing for Leicester, have the skill levels of a 3 legged donkey and the guts and backbone of a spneless jellyfish.

If we are relegated none of you will be good enough to get this club promoted. Not one of them is it to wear our shirt and to be remembered alongside former players who have graced our once great club.

Spot on sir…

I’m so fooking angry today… It was so warm in there such an amazing atmosphere… and to be far we came on of the traps well, when Hume scored I thought IV we get another there heads might go…

And yes we fooked it up one nil.

Ollie says it’s a simple game, we always look vulnerable unlikely to score

Maybe he does not get it?

Ollie out even if Southampton fook it up.

No question is there…

Hey up from South Yorkshire. If its any consolation I think Southampton will lose both their games and you will stay up. I think you all got a bit carried away by beating us a week ago. As I said after the match, Leicester were the worst side to come to oakwell all year. We hit the post twice and should have been given a penalty. So me and all me mates predicted that wednesday (who we hate), with all the pace they have in their side, would beat you. We are all scrapping at the bottom of the table for one reason. We are crap. If you go down you will deserve to go down. Its as simple as that. I think you will get beat by Stoke but fortunately for you the saints have west brom (going for automatic promotion) and sheff utd who are currently on form and going for the playoffs. if the saints get a draw against sheff utd their goal difference is shocking so you will still stay up.

so have heart and keep the faith. there is still hope.

deserve to go down. congrats to sheff wed.

Thanks but the fat lady still has to do the honours though.:thumbup:

Leicester City Fc are a massive club and do not deserve league 1 football. It will be a travesty if you go down but we've been there and back  . I feared the worst for us yesterday due to our injury problems but we managed it.

remember that 4-1 win at Hillsborough when we were relegated from the premiership? I was there. I think we may be a bogie team for you

Good luck against Stoke and lets hope S'ton slip up big style. Hope Brunt stuffs one in against them

message for DanTheFoxBHoy,

Is that Avatar your bird? if so she's well fit mate

On another note ..........

My late Uncle, Tommy Thompson, used to play for leicester City Fc and Linfield FC circa 1939 -1945

Position was right wing.

Anyone on here have any old photgraphs/info?

I'll understand if you're not in the mood to help an owl at the moment but would appreciate it if any one could help.

Jesus, I haven't drunk so much whiskey post match in ages. Only just surfaced. What a bloody mess we're in. Fair play to Wednesday who out battled us and deserved to win in the end.

In advance of the games ahead this week it's too early to read the last rites but I have come to the conclusion that Holloway is not the right man for the job. Why wasn't he on the touchline for 90 mins yesterday. Brian Laws was, Martin O'Neill used to be.

To make matters worse I didn't get a ticket for Stoke so I might go to St.Mary's to support ShefF Utd!!

Last week was dreadful, this week is going to be even worse. I'm feeling a bit like a condemned man on death row at the minute just waiting for the call to the chair. Will someone put us out of misery either way!!

Thanks mate.

Yes we were lucky at Oakwell, and yes we got caught out just the same yesterday. Just Wednesday took there chances.

Hope? 32000 thousand turned up a roared them to do it, and for 25/30 mins we ran them raged. Hope however drained out of my body when our fooking stupid players waved they hands in air waiting for an off Side that never was! (play to whistle for fooking idiots) to when watch a stranded keeper come out and get lobed. GRRRRRR

Southampton should not win on Monday; they were one of the worst team we have played to get points against us! Look at there goal difference..

This sadly however is the championship mate, if it had a middle name it would be “upset”

I’m going to the pub, trying not to be grumpy with the wife and dog but its hard work.

Again, thank you for the positive words of support but I think we are fooked. Our turnip munching donkey worrying clueless clown just does not get it and our team is thin on quality.

Good luck and enjoy next season.

southampton will probably get a result at the hawthorns ,and even if they dont, sheff utd have pretty much bob hope of getting into the playoff's.

Well WBA have Hull hot on their heels and so they will be giving it all they have. They are the favourites cos on paper they have better quality players and are at home.

2 - 0 (Phillips + Brunt)

The blunts are in form just now and still have a chance of the playoffs so I fancy them too.

I was cheering you on in your FA cup semi - hard luck mate :crylaugh:

Would you expect me to say I liked Wednesday ??? To be honest, I think I would have supported Wednesday if they played Cardiff City. Though it wouldnt be easy. I am pleased it looks like you will stay up though. There's no real point in your local rivals being in another Division. Hopefully one of these days we will actually beat you.
