Barry Trotter Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 Work have changed my days this week so I`m now working and away from the TV for the whole of Sunday!!!! Radio for me but thank God I`m away from the Radio Leics area as I don`t think I could put up with Walshy anymore this season. Legend he is but please Walshy if you want to help out and make a change at City get off you padded commentary seat and take your coaches badges!!! Good result tonight for City still think somewho we will be safe as Shef Wed will beat Southampton on Sunday! I don't think he's too bad, seems to think he's better than half the players though... and probably is to be honest.
Foxy1984 Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 Britannia Stadium for me too. It's going to be one hell of a 90 mins.
Corky Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 Yeah the most likely option is standing outside and watch the Leicester fans.I can't watch Leicester on Tv its horrible. Hopefully i will get there. I know, it makes me feel sick with nerves. At least I can watch it so I know what is happening at that moment.
Barry Trotter Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 I might sky plus it and not watch it until all the games have finished, but before i decide to watch it or not i'll come on here to see if i should .I think if i watch it there's a good chance i'll smash my tv Make sure you turn it off first.
fsdss Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 Whatever happens our chances of staying up are greatly diminished if we lose!!! Can`t see Southampton winning. Did you see their subs today? They must have been fresh out of school!!

They must have been fresh out of school!! Couldn't disagree more. Southampton were pretty solid today, I reckon they'll get at least a point and at home too.
Basingstoke Fox Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 There's Prem games on as well. We have stiff competition. I am contemplating holding the local Barmaid to ransome until they put SS2 on. Would much prefer to watch the game with a fellow City fan going through similar agonies. I would actually consider going down to a pub there and watching it, its either that or the possibility of crying at my mates house I did after we went down last time and after Euro 2004 and all World cups since 98 Im a wuss
eldiablo Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 its bad enough city are gonna get relegated but on tv as well! southampton to draw as sheff united got players out, city to lose = worst season in leicesters history.
fsdss Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 I don't think he's too bad, seems to think he's better than half the players though...and probably is to be honest. Totally agree about him being better than the players but why do Radio Leic keep putting people on saying, " We love you Wa;shy.... We want you we need you..." All he does is laps up the praise and claims he loves our club and wants to get involved...... Maybe he will be the next Birch but not a manage in a month of relegations!!!
Shrenchel Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 Ditto anyone in Leeds area. Most the geezers I know round here are students or dole scroungers so it's hard to find anyone with sky sports. Considering doing a door knock ha.
Daggers Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 Whatever happens our chances of staying up are greatly diminished if we lose!!!Can`t see Southampton winning. Did you see their subs today? They must have been fresh out of school!! Dyer and Wright-Phillips? What are you on about?
Maybes Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 This is probably the biggest game I will have witnessed city playing in this sunday. If we win it will beat all the cup final wins in the O'Neill days, just because of the sheer relief that will come of it.
potter3 Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 Dyer and Wright-Phillips? What are you on about? I thought they bought Lallana and some other guy on, Lallana's in his teens I know that.
act smiley Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 To continue the "oh, and round here" from all us poor ticketless bastards, anyone of the other two or three of you out there in Cardiff know where might have it on? All the pubs round my neck of the woods only put championship football on when it doesn't clash with the premiership. Ie, almost never.
Ultra Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 This is probably the biggest game I will have witnessed city playing in this sunday. If we win it will beat all the cup final wins in the O'Neill days, just because of the sheer relief that will come of it. No it won't. All it will do is maintain a record which has lasted for 114 years, Finishing outside the bottom three of a p!sspoor league like this is NOT a cause for street parties or civic receptions!
Ultra Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 And Lallana scored. The saints are used to fighting and winning relegation battles since the Le Tissier years. Their team don't choke as much as we do, that's why they've beaten us three times. Stay in denial as much as you like - come 4pm on Sunday you'll face the cold, hard truth.
Daggers Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 No it won't.All it will do is maintain a record which has lasted for 114 years, Finishing outside the bottom three of a p!sspoor league like this is NOT a cause for street parties or civic receptions! I thought you had moved on to other things, better things, more worthwhile things with which to occupy your time?
Daggers Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 I thought they bought Lallana and some other guy on, Lallana's in his teens I know that. Southampton: Richard Wright, Jermaine Wright, Perry, Lucketti, Surman, Viafara, Idiakez, Safri (Dyer 62), Euell, Saganowski (Lallana 74), John (Wright-Phillips 74). Subs Not Used: Davis, Licka. BBC
Goddard Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 Right, I am in Australia. Any chance I can get hold of this game? Some Aussies out there must know. I'll be in Airlie Beach
eldiablo Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 im goin for 4-0 stoke, but on a positive note holloway will hand his resignation in and howard will never be allowed to play football again.
Dames Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 I've got a feeling we'll nick it. We'll grab it in the 70th min and it will be 20 minutes of pure hell untill the final whistle.
eldiablo Posted 29 April 2008 Posted 29 April 2008 the only half decent thing about city was there defense, no kisnoro means we are ****ed football's quite simple if you cant score you cant win matches therefore you get relegated!!!!!
lildave3 Posted 29 April 2008 Posted 29 April 2008 I've got a feeling we'll nick it.We'll grab it in the 70th min and it will be 20 minutes of pure hell untill the final whistle. Oh god. Imagine if we score in the first 5 minutes! Numerous heart attacks.
Dames Posted 29 April 2008 Posted 29 April 2008 Oh god. Imagine if we score in the first 5 minutes! Numerous heart attacks. I wouldn't be able to handle it. Every time Stoke cross the halfway line i'll be bricking it.
eldiablo Posted 29 April 2008 Posted 29 April 2008 oh dear sounds u like you think leicester have a chance
