DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 29 April 2008 Posted 29 April 2008 Right, I am in Australia. Any chance I can get hold of this game? Some Aussies out there must know. I'll be in Airlie Beach If it's the main game on Sky, it will be shown live, got this e-mail from programming: Coca-Cola Championship Final Day Of Season Sunday 4 May 10.30 pm - 1.15 am Fox Sports 1 Teams for feature game to be advised when confirmed.
CKB Posted 29 April 2008 Posted 29 April 2008 I wouldn't be able to handle it.Every time Stoke cross the halfway line i'll be bricking it. I had brought 10 sets of adult nappies for Sunday, i have now brought an extra 20! Jesus this is gonna be torture!!
CKB Posted 29 April 2008 Posted 29 April 2008 And how will I cope with the never ending stress? That my friend is a good idea! i'll get so fooking stoned i'll just laugh at the T's on Topps Tiles and all will be good in the world! PS: I will be watching at home
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 29 April 2008 Posted 29 April 2008 At the pub. I'll get pissed enough to deal with the fallout (I won't be able to feel the pain when I hurl myself through a shop window).
Lichfieldfox. Posted 29 April 2008 Posted 29 April 2008 I never expected it to come to this. Stoke is the nearest championship ground to me and I'm going to miss it. Wish could be there as I've not seen Leicester lose away this season (Forest, Villa, WBA and Barnsley). I suspect I'll be having more fun than the fans who are going 'cos booked a weekend away in Milan with my girlfriend......you never know I might find a bar with Sky Sports. Come on you Foxes!!!!!
Dr The Singh Posted 29 April 2008 Posted 29 April 2008 At the ground. Its going to be very tense. I'm abit skint otherwise it may have been the pub, unless any of you feckers fancy buying me a beer!! So it looks like it's going to be at my dads, he has loads of booze and my mum will do the cooking!!!
norfolkfox222 Posted 29 April 2008 Posted 29 April 2008 I just heard it is on sky no source but my mate told me !!!! Trust me cum on the bluuuuuuuuuuuues
Dr The Singh Posted 29 April 2008 Posted 29 April 2008 I don't blame the club, can you imagine the ruckus if we lost and got relegated!!! Atleast sky has done the decent thing and put the game on!!
izzetafox? Posted 29 April 2008 Posted 29 April 2008 Good old Messi! Keeping fingers crossed! Yes i was really wondering if they will be doing this, really want to go, be good to be with other fans!, keep us posted!
Fat Ron Posted 29 April 2008 Posted 29 April 2008 No it won't.All it will do is maintain a record which has lasted for 114 years, Finishing outside the bottom three of a p!sspoor league like this is NOT a cause for street parties or civic receptions! I have to disagree there, I think that the Championship has been superb this year (in general).

izzetafox? Posted 29 April 2008 Posted 29 April 2008 We have played Stoke before on sky Yes in 02/03 we won 1-0 Scowcroft scored, second game of the season.......repeat performance would be nice!!
Ozwin Posted 29 April 2008 Posted 29 April 2008 So it's on Sky Sports? I might get a few mates to go to a pub then, see how it goes there. It's one of those games you need to watch with other people.
Koke Posted 29 April 2008 Posted 29 April 2008 Just got tickets. I shall be at the Britannia. Woo Hoo.
Ozwin Posted 29 April 2008 Posted 29 April 2008 Someone contact Leicester to get a big screen set up. It's the least we deserve.
Ozwin Posted 29 April 2008 Posted 29 April 2008 How much are tickets, including travel and whatnot through the coaches?
Koke Posted 29 April 2008 Posted 29 April 2008 No idea about Fox Travel, but the tickets themselves are 20 pounds each.
Ozwin Posted 29 April 2008 Posted 29 April 2008 Hmmm, I'm interested. Maybe I can get some mates to go, not been to an away game before.
brookfox Posted 29 April 2008 Posted 29 April 2008 I'm in Sheffield over the weekend watching the snooker, so I need to find a suitable venue. Any ideas anyone?!
James. Posted 29 April 2008 Posted 29 April 2008 Cyprus. My plans to go to this were scuppered by my shocking memory belatedly realising that it was actually my sister's wedding in Paphos on the Bank Holiday Monday. Gutted I won't be there. Whether we stay up or get relegated it is one of the defining games in our history and if I was in the country then I would have made sure I was in Stoke, whatever the cost. However at least I will have sun, sea, sand and beer to console me if things don't go to plan...
teblin Posted 29 April 2008 Posted 29 April 2008 2-1 win anyone can beat anyone in this league we just need one cup final perfromance!
Ozwin Posted 29 April 2008 Posted 29 April 2008 The players have to play like their lives depend on it. They really do. I think if the fans keep up their already absolutely brilliant away atmosphere then I think the players will find an inner strength to play. They have to play well, if they don't then the whole of Leicester will be after 'em with pitchforks and whatnot.
ozleicester Posted 29 April 2008 Posted 29 April 2008 alone in the dark in Perth..just me..the dog ...and the family at the final whislte as they will obviously be woken by the shreiks of delight..or sobs of despair.
