C-man Posted 7 May 2010 Posted 7 May 2010 Don't tell me you've been going through all 18 pages. It was a bleak day. And I was desperate (but not drunk). I haven't, just saw the first post and I assumed others would be equally as angry.
thybluefox Posted 7 May 2010 Posted 7 May 2010 I'll never forgive Stoke fans for that day Wasn't there, and it was 2 years ago, what did they do?
Bugg Posted 7 May 2010 Posted 7 May 2010 Wasn't there, and it was 2 years ago, what did they do? Ran on to the pitch before the game had finished, tried to 'kick-off' at half time with our fans and just generally acted like twats.
Shrenchel Posted 7 May 2010 Posted 7 May 2010 Justice is done at last for cheating with admin .fooking brilliant, we are staying up , league one for you and couldnt be happier! you deserve it!! Classic.

PAULCFC Posted 7 May 2010 Posted 7 May 2010 somecomments like this in thread that are funny now , cant see them doing quite as well This is "quote central" for all the fans who were pissesd off with being relegated, but really enjoyed the league 1 tour.....i.e me!
Daggers Posted 7 May 2010 Posted 7 May 2010 The wailing and gnashing when we went down Like it was important! It led to a great season in L1, my favourite ever season in fact. It gave us the opportunity to rebuild, cut dead wood and end the whole Huuuuuuuuume nonsense. So will people bear this in mind if we don't get promoted? Will people learn from this and use a bit of perspective? I bloody doubt it.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 7 May 2010 Posted 7 May 2010 How far we've come in two seasons! As people have said, We've got our old Leicester back.
Guest Posted 7 May 2010 Posted 7 May 2010 Welcome to League 1 from your friends down the A47. Been reading this board with interest today and its interesting to see the insight (and lack thereof,) your posters display towards league 1. As a rule the standard is not hugely worse than the bottom half of the Championship, I only wish this guy would look back at this Not the way your boys found it this season eh?
Ibbyfox Posted 7 May 2010 Posted 7 May 2010 It does make you think reading back on threads like this. Saints and Owls fans all commenting on our downfall 2 years ago (admittedly most were sympathetic) and now look at things!! City in the Champ Play Offs and both Southampton and Sheff Wed in League 1 next season! Also the comments from the Posh fan are hilarious - like "you'll not walk League One"!! .............. and we did. Bottom half of Championship similar to League one - bet he's not saying that now? How quickly things can change ..................................

I'm going into the Play Offs with the mindset that if we were to go up, then fantastic, but if not (including if we LOST BOTH LEGS against Cardiff) I still would look back on the season as a very successful one, and look forward to building on it next season.

Daggers Posted 7 May 2010 Posted 7 May 2010 Whichever way it cuts, it simply bodes well for us in the future. Go up? We pocket money to build a better squad. Stay down? We fight in a Championship that will be the fairest in years; them coming down are broke and those who had money are rubbing turf. I'm always all about the future
