lefox Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 Here's been my day so far (from a rant on another thread..) just when you think you're getting over things, you then go work, and you work in n*****ham, and they're all f****t fans. then the electrician comes in and he's a sheep sh4gger, and finally your best client is a villa b4st4rd and begins to rub your nose in it. Then the final insult, which is why I am posting this and going home. Your marketing director rings up to confirm he was at the game and was so pleased to see stoke go up. I'm having a bad day so it's everyones f***ing fault. See you all at Cheltenham, woo - f**king hoo.
lavrentis Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 Anyone had the piss took out of them today proper bad, I have.
Guest Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 Lisa, I'm working in Notts, it's f**king horrible, I will not be allowed to forget this for a looooooooong time. We still have the satisfaction of beating them after giving them a goal start though!
Koke Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 Anyone had the piss took out of them today proper bad, I have. Visited my mum in Smethwick today and to be fair to them the WBA fans were rather sympathetic. Most of them were sad to see us drop down and wished us the best of luck.
Warbo666 Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 unlucky with the abuse guys... I live with a Cov fan.... and i bet that leicester would just survive and cov would go down in our position now.... and i almost won! theres a lot of free pints out the window... gutted... got him wearing his cov shirt all day singing .... 'your going down with the s****horpe' take it with a pinch of salt people.... the glory days will return.. BLUE ARMY! BLUE ARMY! BLUE ARMY!
Sparky Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 Little thing that cheered me up today was working next door to Stonehill/Longslade school and between um the kids must have had 25 / 30 city shirts on between them , good lads

I really find it quite amusing that the Coventry fans are so excited about us getting relegated. Inferiority complex in my opinion, because us going down has got much more coverage than if they'd have gone.
Jonezy Posted 7 May 2008 Posted 7 May 2008 From a Danish foxile. Pretty calm about things sunday, until my girlfriend looked me in the eyes and asked me, if I was alright. At the point I knew I wasn't alright, still coped with it and tried to make myself busy in an attempt to think of something else. Went to bed, and I couldn't sleep, as Leicester was filling up my head. Had a horrible sleep, and monday it really hurt. Completely numb, and I was probably the most grumpy person in and around the greater Copenhagen area. Decided to wear a Leicester shirt to school, and a few classmates gave their support, but it didn't really matter. Still numb and grumpy, I made it through the day. Coming home, and all the gloating comments from rival clubs supporters pissed me off as hell, especially as I could not get a connection to FT. Girlfriend couldn't drag a smile out of me all evening. Managed to get some proper sleep, and tuesday was a day off for me, still unable to connect to FT, which was pure agony, as I wanted to read comments from people, who felt just like me. Mood changing constantly between 'Bring on the frickin League One', and 'How the fcuk did this shit happen'. Now I have been able to connect with this awesome forum again, and I just wanted express my feelings. I'm still in a state of mixed emotions of looking forward and wanting to blame the whole world. Still. A huge respect to all those of you, who the last few months have excelled in some fantastic support of our team, at the Walkers and away. You guys really fought until the end of this disasterous season. I was not able to be part of that, hopefully I will in the future, and hopefully the future will be a lot brighter, than how I feel right now. Thank you.
Linekars Love Child Posted 8 May 2008 Posted 8 May 2008 you lot can grief cov but we went down so that means they are better than us! I think we wont be back for a couple of seasons while cov have more money and could be getting good players! I know who i would rather support!

Bob666 Posted 8 May 2008 Posted 8 May 2008 Heard the devasting news at Delhi airport during a sandstorm........made the 4.5 hour delay at the airport & rest of week in India very depressing........hoping we can bounce back next season & start to score some goals (one of basic concepts of the game).........a very sad day in 30 yrs+ of supporting the club

I think we wont be back for a couple of seasons while cov have more money and could be getting good players! I know who i would rather support! Go and support them then. No-one is stopping you. And they were one point better than us, hardly amazing stuff is it?
Guest Posted 8 May 2008 Posted 8 May 2008 cov have more money Do they? The only reason they are not in administration is because the man who could put them in is the man who is owed most of the money. Not only that, they have no assets; the stadium is owned by the Council, and it's not like they could sell the playing squad. At the end of the day, it wasn't money, or lack of, that got us relegated. It was bad decision followed by bad decision, ad nauseum.
VinceNoir Posted 6 May 2010 Posted 6 May 2010 you lot can grief cov but we went down so that means they are better than us! I think we wont be back for a couple of seasons while cov have more money and could be getting good players! I know who i would rather support! Whoops.
Fox You Forest Posted 7 May 2010 Posted 7 May 2010 Whoops. The lad made 31 posts, he mentioned Dowie or Howey in 27 of them. He's clearly three pence short of a pound.
MC Prussian Posted 7 May 2010 Author Posted 7 May 2010 Alexei (and others) Don't tell me you've been going through all 18 pages. It was a bleak day. And I was desperate (but not drunk).
