These are the kind of venues hosting our club next season.

I fear for home results when the away teams realise the Walkers Stadium has running water!

We're going there TWICE!!! (Bristol Rovers will be playing there too)

I hope Mandaric feels suitably guilty...:angry::angry:

It's not so bad in L1 - take that from someone who watched a season of L2 football.

I'm not here to knock y'all but be warned: underestimate clubs at your peril - poorer teams like Cheltenham left Elland Road with 3 points this season - and no doubt most clubs will see you as the team they want to beat.

Many Nottingham Forest & Sheffield Wednesday fans thought they'd walk L1 but neither did and it took a good few seasons for them to get out.

Hard luck - see you next season.

Exactly.

But no doubt next season some of our fans and players will be posting and saying "Cheltenham? Swindon? Northampton? Peterborough? We should be beating teams like those"

Going to the game not turning up and losing.

It's fair enough saying "We should be beating teams like..." but if you don't turn up, if you don't play at your full potential, if you disrespect the opposition chances are you'll lose, and you'll deserve to lose.

Man Utd could go and play a non-league team but if they don't perform or go to win, not playing at full potential chances are they'll lose.

And I think its one of the reason's we've been relegated even in the Championship we disrespected our opposition, I was speaking to someone a few weeks ago who is a Leicester fan, he used to go home and away regularly but doesn't at all anymore but he said "We should be beating teams like Bristol City and Hull" I said to him have you realised when those 2 teams are in the league? Just because their not big teams, e.t.c, doesn't give us the god given right to just turn up and beat certain teams, you have play, perform and never underestimate anyone.

Hi All,

Hartlepool fan here in peace.. Only reason our ground looks like a crock of shyte  is because our council has been stalling at selling this back to our owners "IOR oil company"

IF our council pulls there finger out in the next month or so you will have a nice shiny new stand to sit your arses on :)

All the best guys.. I do feel for you clubs as you do not belong down here.. but you will be surprised at some of the pitches in league 1, They aint as bad as you think.. We have 1 of the best pitches outside of the premiership as you will see as our groundsman won it umpteen times.

Anyway to stop the waffling it will be nice for us fans to visit another impressive stadium as when i chose to support Hartlepool over Boro/N'castle/S'land.. this is the sacrafice i made :)

Hows the football played in league 1?, mainly in the air or flying studs?

To be fair, half of the pictures posted are from the 80s/90's and the grounds are completly different. Spesh Cheltnham.
