Season ticket prices have been frozen but (possibly Leeds aside) there won't be anything that you can call a Category A game next year so the prices for general sale should be mid range anyway which will keep a lot of the casuals in tow. Added to that, games like Yeovil and Cheltenham - no direspect - will be Kids For A Quid or something similar.

I'd think we'll start with crowds of 18-20K and performances will decide if that goes down to 15ish or up to about 25.

Nottingham Forest (2) - 19956

Leeds United (5) - 25720

Swansea City (1) - 12993

Luton Town (24) - 6492

Good lord... that just about sums up that division.

Personally, I think we'll get around 15k at the Walkers.

Our away attendances will be pretty much the same though.

There was talk that we wouldn't be opening all four stands at the Walkers if we got relegated. A bit like what Leeds did with their Upper Tier.

It really depends. If we're doing well, I'd imagine attendances will be over 20K. Otherwise around 15k.

Still not decided if I'll renew. Think I might aim to get round some more away grounds instead...

I don't see that they should fall dramatically. I'm fairly certain that the big crowds we've been getting haven't been coming to view the magnificent spectacle that is the Championship - for the most part it's been like paying £25 to watch a turd dry out. In fact, I'm at a loss as to why they've been coming at all.

If results are good, and there's a decent chance of coming away from the ground with a smile on your face instead of wondering why you didn't spend the afternoon clearing out the garage/washing your hair/building a subterranean prison for your children, I think the division you're in makes less difference than you think

Exactly... people saying 15k are well wide of the mark. As I said before it's nothing like the drop you get from premier to Championship when all the glory hunters vanish.

It all depends upon the initial success of the team, everyone loves a winner, the glory hunters will return in no time!!!!

If we do well we could seriously get high 20's... the numbers we have managed through all this shit has been top notch to be honest.

I can imagine around the 25k, if we get some really good early results. The fans are craving success and some decent results, it would give the fans and club a real lift!!!

But if we begin to ponder around mid table, it could be around 12-14k!!!

There will be alot more ticket offers (family fixture etc) to get the likes of me (skint) to come to the game, so on those occassion 20k should be a minimum!!!

If we have averaged 22/23k in this division doing poorly, I see no reason why we can't average 18/19/20k next year. It's not like those going regularly this year are glory hunters who will drop off like they did when we came down from the prem.

Winning games brings the crowds, if we are doing well I think we can get 26k regularly easily.

i totally agree, 28ish if were winning most games and near a promotion spot
