Bluebird2k7 Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 I know Leicester aren't a fickle bunch so how many do you think you'll get? Just wondering.. Oh and good luck next season .
Finnegan Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 I know Leicester aren't a fickle bunch so how many do you think you'll get?Just wondering.. Oh and good luck next season . Better question. Who do you think'll have a higher average gate next year; you or the Jacks?
Bluebird2k7 Posted 5 May 2008 Author Posted 5 May 2008 Better question. Who do you think'll have a higher average gate next year; you or the Jacks? Us. They had 12,000 average in League One when they have been top of the league for ages! We had 14,000 average in the same division a few years ago when we were in the play offs. We have already sold 13,000 season tickets for next season due to the FA cup final which should make our average attendances around 15-17k, I can't see those jacks beating that...
grah711 Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 274 if it is sunny 20k average i hope, nothing can change what has happened we need to get behind the club and drive us forward and back where we belong. get rid of the high earners and the dead wood and get some fresh blood in, a new manager and get rid of the crap we will do well

Good luck to both of you, to be honest, sad we're losing Wrexham the other way but the more our clubs perform it can only improve the national game. Though if Earnie's coming home then my bias is probably likely to swing East that little bit, frankly. Any news on that for sure?
Libertine Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 Average of 15k I reckon. Same here. We'll be able to pull in 20k+ if we challenge for promotion.
act smiley Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 A Leicester season ticket would cost me twice as much as one on the Bob Bank would and we're down, so I really can't see us getting huge crowds to be honest. 15k, pushing 20k if we get a good run going, maybe 25k for the really big games if its cheaper than it is now. The aways, I can't see the numbers changing, so loads to the important ones, 500 to Colchester away.
DB11 Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 Well still have a higher average attendance than Cov. And Plymouth
Basingstoke Fox Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 I know Leicester aren't a fickle bunch so how many do you think you'll get?Just wondering.. Oh and good luck next season . They can be but all football fans can be. Ill be honest, Im not going to be going to many home games unless in visiting relatives in the area. Ill be at any southern games though. Yeovil, Swindon, Brighton. Cant Wait!!
The Stig Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 20k average i hope, nothing can change what has happened we need to get behind the club and drive us forward and back where we belong.get rid of the high earners and the dead wood and get some fresh blood in, a new manager and get rid of the crap we will do well Not a hope. 13 - 14 K average max. And Milan was on about increasing to the capacity to 45000!
MikeyT Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 Well if people are true fans then i would expect to see just as many as this season, but clearly that wont happen because too many people are fickle! Im going to try and get to as many as possible but it will be difficult as im moving to Bournemouth in September! Once a fox always a fox!!!
Mikey Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 I'd say about 18k max. But if we do good it could be anything from 20k to about 30k, but that has to be really good.
Corky Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 We may be surprised. I never expected Leeds to get big crowds this season, but they did. People may feel that their support are needed more than ever so they will turn up in great numbers.

I dont like Leeds but fair play to their fans who have stuck with them through harsh times.
Webbo Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 I expect 20,000+ next season. If we're winning every week that will attract fans and if not there will be a lot of special offers to bring casual fans.
dandannieldanok Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 I reckon if the prices are reasonable and we're winning consistently, we'll average just over 20,000. Otherwise, we could really plummet down to below 15,000.
Mickey O'Neil Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 I know Leicester aren't a fickle bunch so how many do you think you'll get?Just wondering.. Oh and good luck next season . We're the most fickle bunch of tossers you're ever likely to come across. I reckon we'll be lucky to pull in 15k. *IF* we get a good start, then we might get up to 20k, but we're no Leeds, thats for sure.
