My day wasnt to bad just had a smug leeds fan ripping me all day.

You should have chanted "See you next year"

Got a bit of stick off a Norwich fan and my mates but it werent too bad

What exactly have they got to boast about? Their worst season for 40-odd years? Losing 4-0 to a relegated team?

When i got home from the match on sunday my flatmates had decorated the flat with banners & pictures that took the p*ss so i wasn't best pleased. Yesterday wasn't much better as I spent an hour on the phone getting ripped by my best mate who is a Palace fan & was at Selhurst to see them win 5-0 & get in to the play-offs. Then today I had to face one of my course-mates who is a Southampton fan so its been a rough few days to say the least :(

I would have killed them im not talking to anyone and it suits me because i am anti social anyway.

Considering I work with Mags & Mackems I got about what I expected today. My office space mainly covered with newspapers showing heads in hands etc. Kept chin up, was mainly philosophical about it all and didn't hit anybody! :D

A lot of we will be back statements, Ollys tactical ineptitude and happy with the news Mandaric staying. :scarf:

Yeah i just shut him up by going "have actullaly ever been to a leeds game" the answer ... "urrm no"

AND should they fail in the play-offs (Which I really hope they do) you can be smug back to him. I mean you've gotta say well done to Leeds after a 15 point deduction and where they are now as much as I hate to say that but you can still wind him up should they fail.

Surrounded by Hull fans (Who suspiciously enough have only been Hull fans since Ashbee rattled in the goal that got them their first promotion under Taylor) so obviously they had too many of their own concerns to give a toss about us. The ones that said anything were sympathetic. My mates a Saints fan and he was pretty tactful to be fair, we both wanted Cov down.

I work with a West Brom fan, A Villa fan and a Norwich fan... all of them were pretty good about it tbh.

No fake platitudes or sympathy, just a good long chat about where it all went wrong, what's going to happen next season etc etc.

The people I work with are awesome.

Must say - it's a bit lonely here dealing with this. (I wasn't Leicester-born, so it's even a bit odd to feel as down as I do.) Guess next year I'll have the badge of honor of being the only one of my friends that supports a League One team - and I'll do so proudly. Let them watch their fancy premiership teams on Fox Soccer Channel and Setanta - me, I'll be home listening in on my pirated World radio stream on Saturday mornings, searching the internet for little known League One blogs for the latest transfer rumors..............and reading Foxestalk of course. :fox:

Got pretty ripped really by a Southampton fan and a Sheff Utd fan but apart from that most people actually felt sorry for Leicester and said they wanted to see us back in the championshi which i thought was pretty good.

It's been fine.

Most people who I thought would have a dig were actually quite disappointed themselves that Leicester got relegated. Only stick I had was off a couple of Ipswich fans really.

Today was alright, all the Man Utd and Liverpool 'fans' that I was expecting to lay into me about League One actually said they were gutted that Leicester went down. One even said he cried! lol

I have that feeling too, I think it's just to show others "yeah we're still here".

And we'll be biting you in the ass when we next play you too as we'll be the underdogs again... our favourite position! :D

In history we'll still be a bigger and better club

How so?

Everything points to us being a bigger and better (if by better you mean winning trophies) club.

Posted
at least we've never been embarrassed by getting such a bad record in the Premiership

But wouldn't you rather be embarrassed in the Premiership than in the Championship? I'm not surprised it didn't shut him up.

Derby are a bigger-ish club than us.

At best we are on par with them. That I can accept. But we certainly ain't bigger than them.

Mine was alright, no one said anything bar a Spurs fan but he was sympathetic like and he said he wanted to see us do a quick return.

My first day back was shite.....apart from the fact that I have to work in Nuneaton (souless dump) most of my customers are Cov season ticket holders.....

As you can image every half an hour or so ive had one of the smug bast***s sticking their heads around my office door offering me words of encouagement, bunch of inbreds.

Then to make matters worse I went out in the car mid morning and that Cov t**t John Gaunt was on Talksport going on about how good Cov are and asking how Leicester fans would be feeling today..and then had the nerve to ask how long it was since we had an open top bus ride through our fair city...what a p**ck....anyone sensing that my day hasnt been the best.

Had nothing but sympathy from the people I work with but our Derby-supporting van driver is back in tomorrow and that will be hell. I prayed to God they'd get up last year just so they could take a hammering this year but I've stayed silent all season as our results have barely been better than theirs.

My worst bit was getting home tonight and finding my Ladbrokes slip from last August

Derby to be relegated

Forest to be promoted

City to be promoted

The treble wouled have netted me £430 but I got fu<k all and relegation to the third tier >_<

Talking of betting, Nash,s save from Stears cost me nearly £300.00 as I had lumped on our boy to score the first goal at 40/1 !!
