I'll love him if that happens and yes, I really despise him right now. If this makes me fickle then so what?!

1. It's a big if.

2. Surely if we do manage to keep a good majority of our players, automatic promotion under a decent manager should be to expected, but with Ollie? It was surely easier for a reasonable manager to get us into midtable obscurity as a minimum standard this year bearing in mind all the money invested compared with most of the clubs above us. It surely was a harder task to get us relegated.

3. Even with a clown like Ollie it should be reasonable to expect promotion or at least a playoff position, but what if we were promoted? Do you honestly believe after what we've seen of Ollie this year, he could get us up into the premiership? If so, do you seriously think he has the tactical nous and general managerial acumen to keep us there? Not a chance.

Wake up now Milan, Leicester City should not be rewarding abject failure, sack him now and plan for the future. You two are fast becoming the Dumb and Dumber of football!

The issue is this;

If we keep Holloway he will attempt to bounce back by bringing in more players "experienced at this level" and even if we do get back we will struggle once more. That is what is track record leads us to believe.

OR, bring in someone who would make the most of our crop of young talent and build something more substantial, even if it takes a season or two. Our better youngsters will all be looking to leave if Holloway continues to shut them out.

I would dearly like to see more of our young players given a chance, rather than rely on second rate mercenaries, which is why I would like to see Holloway leave / get sacked!

Jose Mourinho.

What I would like to see happen right now is that Ollie quits writing this BBC blog article thing, stop acting the twat all the time, wake up and realise that the Leicester job is the biggest thing he is ever going to have in his life, and then and only then he might just concentrate on the job in hand.

The Paint trophy isn't worth talking about and if he wins promotion then we will be back where we started, so he will have achieved nothing. :frusty:

No idea spot.

The point is if we have heard of him then he already has a track record at a high level and will have his own ideas and big ego. Cue another Holloway style scenario. Anyway established managers are not going to come to the 3rd division, especially with a 'difficult' owner like MM to deal with.

Maybe it is time for something different. For example someone like Steve Walsh to define the big picture and provide the leadership and Rudkin (or Beaglehole) as first team coach?

This could provide both new energy and leadership, which has been sorely lacking of late, and great continuity for the youngsters stepping up to the first team.

It has got to be better than what we have had for the last few years!

Has anyone actually used a chocolate teapot? You never know, they might be useful.

On the main subject, I'm not a great fan of Holloway's management, but if he's here next season, he will have my full support, and so will the team. It is a fresh start and we have to get behind everyone at the club.

aslong as he gets his badges then why not

If he gets his badges then fair enough.

Until then even talk about Walshy as manager is ludicrous.

Like i said,Jose and Jean...they are the men to sort us owt,and i think MM can get them in.

:)

why is it an if

we should do it easy, but thats just me veiw on things

Well you are deluded I'm afraid

League One is not an easy league to get out of, even if you keep most of your current first team squad.

I would suggest a play off place as a more realistic expectation (and one that won't heap pressure on everyone involved) and IF you were to get auto promotion then treat it as a bonus.

Why is it ludicrous?

I clearly stated that he would not be the COACH, Energy, motivation, the big picture would be his role.

Leaders lead...... Coaches coach!

It is not difficult to understand!

So you dont want Walshy as manager or coach but just as a motivational energizing type person???
