Koke Posted 20 May 2008 Posted 20 May 2008 The main problem he has is that he has become a target for people and he just can't control himself. I won't be suprised to hear about further incidents while he is in prison. That's the thing. I'm not excusing his behavior as he's a grown man and he has to be responsible for his action, but at the same time I do feel a tad bit sorry for him.
Matt Posted 20 May 2008 Posted 20 May 2008 Three months tops, he'll be out by the start of next season. Leicester signing written all over it.
Vacamion Posted 20 May 2008 Posted 20 May 2008 10 pints and 5 bottles of beer - what a professional !
Ultra Posted 20 May 2008 Posted 20 May 2008 While everyone is busy slagging the man - he has a drinking problem. Those on the board who have lived with this in the family know how difficult it is for the afflicted to overcome, and he is trying. Having a drink problem is one thing. Smashing a kid's face in at 5am is quite another though, especially when he was already on bail for the incident at Man City. He was lucky to get away with just six months, though a character statement from Kevin Keegan may have helped. I wouldn't be surprised if Newcastle kept him on after he serves his sentence.

Would that be as a footballer or a bouncer?

The People's Hero Posted 21 May 2008 Posted 21 May 2008 Kevin Keegan There's another dodgy character. Remember when he was found kerbside at a service station at about 4am as he'd 'fallen asleep at the wheel'???
Daggers Posted 21 May 2008 Posted 21 May 2008 A brain transplant might help! The last one rejected me.
