FleckneyFox Posted 1 July 2008 Posted 1 July 2008 Ahmed Deen - Ex Academy player just seen on SSN has joined Macclesfield. He was always a decent youngster on Champ manager. I think he was playing for Bishops Stortford in the BSS last season. Anyway congrats to him
Darkzzz_ Posted 1 July 2008 Posted 1 July 2008 I have seen Deco play at Camp Nou 3 times, he has always been one of these players that can be outstanding one minute and so so poor the next!! He is very frustrating to watch, actually worse when your there watching him!! I wish him well.... Glad Barca got rid... He was dead wood!!
GianEmmo Zola Posted 1 July 2008 Posted 1 July 2008 Cameron Belfords old man used to play for the city, and he played a bit for Coalville Town ! he was also a gk , who plays in the masters for city

Father Ted Posted 2 July 2008 Posted 2 July 2008 Glen Little - Reading to Portsmouth That's a shock, he was always injured at Reading and tbh I don't think Pompey will suit his style of play. Joe. Posted 3 July 2008 Posted 3 July 2008 Phillipp Degen to Liverpool - Free He can't even get in the Swiss first team
WetFlannel Posted 3 July 2008 Posted 3 July 2008 Liverpool make too many pointless signings like this. Stop spending millions on loads of average players and take a gamble. Also, can someone explain to me the point in selling Alonso and then bringing in Gareth Barry? They don't need him and it's money that could be spent on a winger or striker.
SamL Posted 3 July 2008 Posted 3 July 2008 He can't even get in the Swiss first team From what I gather he's a fairly average player. They won't be challenging for the title anytime soon with signings like that.

Sounds like a typical Liverpool signing. Liverpool are gonna be dropping off the other teams of the so called 'big four' they buy too many average players rather than signing people of a bit more class. They aren't gonna be a serious challenge for the title anytime soon unless they bring in a few more quality players and stop relying so much on Gerrard and Torres.
MikeyT Posted 4 July 2008 Posted 4 July 2008 Harry Kewell to Galatasaray - Free Transfer. Is it just me, or does that seem a strange move for him!
Jack Posted 4 July 2008 Posted 4 July 2008 Is it just me, or does that seem a strange move for him! People will move anywhere for dosh
Manwell Pablo Posted 4 July 2008 Posted 4 July 2008 People will move anywhere for dosh Thats not true, I wouldn't live in Ager nook for all the money in the world.
RedHux Posted 4 July 2008 Posted 4 July 2008 Forest sign Andy Cole on a 12 months contract. As I predicted in a previous thread somewhere.
Joe. Posted 4 July 2008 Posted 4 July 2008 Forest sign Andy Cole on a 12 months contract. As I predicted in a previous thread somewhere. How desperate are you?! Being fair, he can probably score the odd goal but he's way past it now.

Not a bad return, and I think the thinking is he'll be able to add the ever important experince as we're quite a young side. That said I can see exactly where you're coming from. I'm undecided. Could be another Lennon fiasco.

Yeah I'll admit his goalscoring record for Burnley, including that one game he bagged himself a hat-trick I remember, but I just don't think he'll reproduce that for Forest. And whether he'll even get the opportunities is another thing too...

Hopefully that chap we've got on loan from the scouse scum'll do a fair bit of providing. Melton lad too which is what I think swung the deal in our favour.
