Sunderland have rejected a bid of £1.7m from Stoke City for Marton Fulop, BBC Radio Stoke has learnt.

The Potters are now expected to make an improved bid, probably around the £2m mark for the Hungarian goalkeeper.

Fulop spent less than a week on loan with Potters in February, his spell at the Britannia Stadium being cut short when he was recalled by Roy Keane.

The 25-year-old former Spurs keeper has seen his chances with the Black Cats limited by the arrival of Craig Gordon.

Who cares?

He doesnt play for us anymore.

It will be interesting to see how much he does move for when he eventually leaves Sunderland though.

Chelsea Sign Deco

No surprise really.

A different class to Lampard but he'll have less time on the ball than he's allowed in Spain. They could do with signing a striker that's going to get the best out of him, making the sort of intelligent runs that Eto'o, Iniesta and Messi do for Barca. Still, will be a joy to watch.

I'm unsure about this one.

He's not the same player he was a few years ago but I think he should still be able to prove himself worthy in the Premiership, although it may take time.

Can't see this anywhere

Chelsea have completed the signing of Barcelona playmaker Deco for a reported fee of £7.9million.

It is understood Deco has agreed a two-year deal in West London after passing a medical and that he will cost Chelsea a fee in the region of 10million euros (£7.9m).

The 30-year-old becomes new manager Luiz Felipe Scolari's first signing, despite the fact that the Brazilian does not officially take over at Stamford Bridge until Tuesday.

A statement on Chelsea's official website said: "Chelsea football club is delighted to confirm the signing of Deco from FC Barcelona."

I agree with you, but then because English people don't see them week in week out, they will moan like they did with Hargreaves which I think is stupid. I agree with your point though.
