I don't question Davies' ability but I do question the mettle of the supporters who have a proclivity to 'boo' because we pay our money and have the right to complain.I'm coming round to the Davies idea aside from the fact that his name doesn't scan properly: Billy Day Vies Billy Day Billy Day Vies Nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah You'd hope the supporters may be more tolerant with Holloway gone, but any new manager will probably have the supporters on their back if they fail to win their first game. It may even be sooner than that - Thracian will probably want him out after our friendly at Hinckley. One Friendly game is too much.

He was unlucky to get sacked at Derby he was a victim of his own success he got them up a year too early if he had lost in the playoffs he would still be there.. Jewell did no better after he took over.

He's hardly an up and comer but certainly isn't an old timer coming to the end of his managerial career either. He's only managed in England for 5 years with Preston and Derby.
