Join the Billy Davies bandwagon

Ignoring the whys and wherefores, three teams and three poor starts; Odds are that no matter the manager, we may well be in for a stuttering start to this one. I don't question Davies' ability but I do question the mettle of the supporters who have a proclivity to 'boo' because we pay our money and have the right to complain.

I'm coming round to the Davies idea aside from the fact that his name doesn't scan properly:

Billy Day Vies

Billy Day

Billy Day Vies

Nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah

You'd hope the supporters may be more tolerant with Holloway gone, but any new manager will probably have the supporters on their back if they fail to win their first game.

It may even be sooner than that - Thracian will probably want him out after our friendly at Hinckley. One Friendly game is too much.

A bit harsh but at times true. Although it depends, like MA losing to Blackpool at home first game.

Billy Davies would be mint for us! Be straight back up and he'd make us a force in championship. Never thought he'd even consider coming to League 1 but sounds like he might!

Come on Billy you know you want to!

Anyone else feel that we are setting ourselves up to be disappointed! :S

Yep, a first I thought it could happen, but I'm having my doubts. Hopefully Milan can see he's the overwelming fan choice and try that little extra to get him.

I've been repeating the words 'Billy' and 'Davies' in my head over and over again and now I'm convinced that he's the man to lead us to glory once more

I reckon we need someone who is as far removed from 'dour' as possible.

Perhaps a mad Spaniard who doesn't know the language but can express himself through elaborate hand gestures!

I'm for Davies have been since half way thru last season. He was unlucky to get sacked at Derby he was a victim of his own success he got them up a year too early if he had lost in the playoffs he would still be there.. Jewell did no better after he took over.

he is the man for the job mm should snap him up, pay him his demanded wage bill and take us back up

and another good point bwt im is that theres a chance oakley will stay ... i no some will disagree but personaly i think matty is a good player and did a good job for us and i would like to see more of him

You also have to remember Davies had only been working as a manager for 8 years.

He's hardly an up and comer but certainly isn't an old timer coming to the end of his managerial career either.

He's only managed in England for 5 years with Preston and Derby.
