Why have an agent then, I would have thought that is one of the primary jobs of an agent to aid communication between players and clubs. It would be like taking your parents with you on the first day of school.It would get around and he would be a laughing stock. I'm sure Joe Mattock will be devastated to see a bunch of League 1 players laughing at him as he swans off the the premier league.

I think that it can be taken as a positive that Mattock is still with us I also think that it is a good sign he was talking on Friday with NP, MM et al and then is still playing on Saturday against Crystal Palace (I personally wouldn't play someone who wanted to leave or sell [in James Chambers] the best man to cover him). I hope, in line with what Knowitall seems to be suggesting, that Mattock is getting a new contract (if that is what he is after) and will be here for next year.

Later a meeting with NP was held first with MM then with Hoos.The meeting with MM and Hoos could have been about Joe or the Swiss player or James Chambers or any other player. I dont know. The big question is why was Joe's agent at a meeting with NP? If Joe was leaving why would NP waste his time with this agent? If i was Mattock i would: a) realise that i am worth more than the amount Leicester are currently paying on my first real contract, mainly due to future prospects and external interest b) also realise that next year in league 1 would be far more beneficial than a year as a nobody at a premiership club Drawing conclusions from the above i would stay at Leicester but demand a pay rise, which could be a possible explanation for the meeting with all of the parties above. This is my crazy theory anyhow...

To see one of our own with talent week in week out is much better than buying in someone who hasn't got the true spirit to play for Leicester City. Mattock could develop into an England player and we should help that development as much as we the supporters can. If true this is the best news of the summer.

He never had a fight with him and i never said it. To be fair i have heard it through the grape vine that it was infact Beswick's girlfirend who apparently said it. and if she didnt say it then i personally think she is entitle to come to her defence. but yes the commas were abit much so i agree on that one

Its amazing that some of you just decided to sit there and think..'hmm lets make up a lie on foxes talk about Beswick and say that his girlfriend told us'. You obviously have nothing better to do woth your life. Some people on here are so bad mannered its unreal. The world doesn't revolve around you, love. Believe it or not, being the girlfriend of a player who is about 5th choice left sided player in a third tier club which has been garbage for years, doesn't impress me.
