Bert Posted 2 June 2008 Posted 2 June 2008 So shall we have Red, Blue, white and the yellow bibs for colours?
Flynny Posted 2 June 2008 Posted 2 June 2008 We're not taking up TB on their offer of a team then? 5 teams would have been odd but 6 with one from them would have been closer to the original plan. Not that this isn't actually working much smoother than I ever anticipated (cheers DavieG ), just a thought.
Tevez Posted 2 June 2008 Posted 2 June 2008 Tevez and Maybes reunited safe. bbe i love you... me and maybury are like a sheet of corrigated iron infront of goal. sexual seduction = maybes and tevez

Tomassi Posted 2 June 2008 Posted 2 June 2008 I hope we have a good goalkeeper for team B. i take it you aint a goalkeeper...?
bigneville Posted 2 June 2008 Posted 2 June 2008 I'm hoping to find out tomorrow if St Margarets is available. DavieG if your having trouble getting a pitch down St Margarets, let me know. I know the person in charge of booking pitches down there, and I book pitches for hockey all the time. So may be able to help out in some way.

A round robin for 6 teams would take all day and any league formation is not really suitable for an afternoon event. With the four teams every one gets to play at least 3 games doing it round robin style extra if you have a play off at the end.

Scow Posted 2 June 2008 Posted 2 June 2008 We will, we are a young vibrant team. I've probably destroyed that in one go.
Joe. Posted 2 June 2008 Posted 2 June 2008 i take it you aint a goalkeeper...? Not at all Ahh dear this is already our downfall....

Tomassi Posted 2 June 2008 Posted 2 June 2008 Not at all Ahh dear this is already our downfall.... Keegan approach, score more than we concede
Joe. Posted 2 June 2008 Posted 2 June 2008 Keegan approach, score more than we concede I like this style. Ball --- Tomassi --- Goal. Simple.
Tomassi Posted 2 June 2008 Posted 2 June 2008 I like this style.Ball --- Tomassi --- Goal. Simple. Ball --- Tomassi --- Over the fence let alone goal
Manwell Pablo Posted 2 June 2008 Posted 2 June 2008 Schedule:4 Teams of 7 people including 1/2 sub Round Robin where each team plays the other = 6 games 6 games x 15 minutes + 5 minutes for change over = 2 hours (£80 @ Goals / £60 @ St Margaret's -availability and price not confirmed) If time permits top 2 teams play off, you'd probably have to pay for an extra hr based on 3 pts for a win etc. - Total time 2hours 20min Round 1 1) A vs D 2) B vs C Round 2 1) C vs A 2) D vs B Round 3 1) A vs B 2 C vs D Venue: To be decided Goals - £60/ 2 hours - to be booked the week before or St Margarets - £40 / 2 hours - Availablity and cost to be confirm Whats going on with these prices!? If you get St Margarets (full pitch) I got quoted £32 for 2 Hours, thats the whole 11 a side pitch (2x 5 a side pitches) so you can have 2 games going on at once. Book it for three hours will only be about £48 quid for 2x pitches then we can have a decent length game, or maybe even play each other twice, maybe both with two pitches. Plenty of time for a play off as well.

Maybe they charge more for two x 5 a side pitches I dunno, sports centres can be robbing twats when it comes to things like this, 5 a side = money. Having said that I normally pay £2 - £2.50 for 20 -30 minutes of 5 a side when I play at hood park so will happily pay more than that for this.
Bert Posted 2 June 2008 Posted 2 June 2008 Im gutted I cant make this Always pictures. Maybes, why you lie? Im going now? You've been lurking for ages.
